So last week, Saturday to be exact, I ventured over to the Grand Opening of the Five Four Store in the Fox Hills Mall or Westfield Shopping Center in Culver City (you pick). The store is part of the huge redevelopment process that went down. So now in the 'extended' part of the mall you can find a Target, Best Buy, Five Four and other nice additions. The food court is now a Dining Terrace and Brooklyn Projects is coming soon. Anyways back to the opening...there were select items on sale, steady foot traffic for the few hours I was there, free champagne for guests and even some celebrity appearances. It's been dope to watch Five Four grow as a brand and evolve and now be able to open a store locally that many of us can access...don't know what this will mean for the famous sample sales but either way you should support Five Four, a home grown company that is making it's impact across the world.
