MELO KAN: W.A.N.T.S. LIFESTYLE INTERVIEW

My boy Melo KAN did an intense interview with WANTS Lifestyle's website and touches on everything from the growth and non-growth of our hip hop scene, hip hop influences to our President and the racial oppositions he is facing in office.  Melo surely opens up about him as an artist but also goes there in the interview.  But if you have become familiar with his music you should have an idea that he's a passionate artist and has a real drive for change and a fight in him to see all viewed as equals.  Check the interview here (I also get a shoutout).

Here is a sneak peek of Melo KAN's upcoming video "Don't Talk 2 Strangers" shot by DRG Films (Floss Angeles, Way Mo Fresha). I couldn't find the footage of the sunset and night shots but I think this quick montage and interview should be enough to get you curious about the video. Pretty much the first verse was shot during the day and the second verse was shot at night. Don't forget this is the single from Bring Da Bluez II which is available for FREE download at eazeest.com Shouts out to 4LB Muzik & Da Blokk Movement. Proud to present this leak from local veteran Melo KAN...in association with Eazee Street he will be releasing three new projects.  This first one is a warm up for the next two, but is an ode to his first project ever that many of his original fans will recognize by the title.  Bring Da Bluez II has one feature and is moreover just Melo spitting bars on topics ranging from the hip hop industry to community issues.  Check out this first leak to get an idea of the feel of Bring Da Bluez II which drops next week.

MELO KAN w/ FORESHADOW of THOSE CHOSEN (LIVE)

At Melo KAN's live show a couple weeks back with the Beatnuts the southern Cali emcee brought his long time friend and fellow emcee Foreshadow from the group Those Chosen as well as Notcho.  They all rep the 909 area code and go in with help from the live band.  This track will be featured on one of Melo KAN's upcoming projects called the Unkomfortable Silence.  This project is rumored to feature members of Those Chosen, Bad Lucc, and some known features from the Bay Area and Houston that should get some attention.  In the meantime Melo will be dropping another project next week as a warm up.  It's called Bring Da Bluez II and his day one fans will be familiar with that title.  Expect a song leak by the end of the week.  As a bonus here is an unreleased track that has been making its rounds on the net and radio stations in other areas outside of Los Angeles.

MELO KAN - U KOULD BE NEXT (NEW MUSIC)

This track here was left off of Melo KAN's last album EPU, but from the vault we're taking it and dropping it on the masses as today it's very relevant.  It has to do with Police Brutality and we've all one way or the other been affected by it (even if you don't know it).  So read the message from Melo KAN and Da Blokk and understand it.  This is also the reason I chose to drop Schoolboy Q's track today.

Today, October 22, marks the 14th annual national "Wear Blakk" day which kommemorates the stand we make against police brutality. This trakk didn't make Melo's EPU album but he wanted to share it with everybody to raise awareness of the terrorism we face in our own kommunities. Police brutality occurs on a daily basis by those who are sworn to protect us. With that said...
Here is another chance for you to check out one of Melo Kan 's Exclusive Trakk!!
"U KOULD BE NEXT"

MELO KAN - FUKT UP THE HOOD

If you wondered where Melo KAN has been he's been hard at work...with a good fan base in Denver, Arizona and Baltimore he's been doing shows and putting in work on not 1 but three projects. Here is a leak from the forthcoming Unkomfortable Silence project...you know what happens just before a riot breaks out. It's pretty much what you're witnessing before LA runs rampant through hip hop. Expect to see features from Bad Lucc, Glasses Malone, Jacka and a surprise guest from Houston. For now here is the first leak called Fukt Up The Hood. A song with many political references, some may call this Revolutionary music. Check it out.
