NDUGU CHANCLER: MERC80 INTERVIEW pt. 1 (VIDEO)

The homie did an in-depth interview with a musical genius and major contributor to many of the songs that have shaped hip hop today.  Ndugu Chancler is not only a great musician he's also the father of a friend of mine, so to see him get some shine is great.  He's a great guy and someone to soak up some game from.  Peep part one as he talks about Michael Jackson vs Miles Davis, how he fell in love with music, and Miles Davis' role in music history.  I will drop part 2 tomorrow.  Enjoy.

Sidenote here are some musicians he's worked with that you may have heard of:

Michael Jackson.  Miles Davis.  Santana.  Herbie Hancock. Patrice Rushen.  George Duke.  Frank Sinatra.  Quincy Jones.  John Lee Hooker.  James Ingram.

Here is limited edition tee by LUDWIG commissioned by the Miles Davis Foundation.  The tee will be available by Friday (this weekend at the latest) right here.  So if you're a good music fan, which most of you are, then I'm sure you'll find interest in this shirt.  Once again go here to purchase yours.  This shirt celebrates the 50 year anniversary of Miles' album Land of the Blue.  Props to John.

I saw that these folks were dropping today, pick up a copy. Get some gangsta rap in ya system with G-Unit's T.O.S (Terminate On Sight), then get a lil unique with it while bumping J*Davey's double CD: The Beauty in Distortion/The Land of the Lost and ultimately cool out with some classic jazz/blues type vibe with Miles Davis, The Musings of Miles. Special shout out to J*Davey...and Mr. D'Leau, send me some stuff that didn't make the album.
UPDATE: according to Kev, Paul Wall (Already Famous), Tech N9ne (Killer) and last but not least (or maybe least) Jim Jones presents M.O.B. (Members of Byrdgang). How could I forget any of those...smh!!! My BBQ gonna be bumpin...
