TRIUMVIR x SUPER STREET FIGHTER COLLECTION

This collection contains most of your favorite Street Fighter characters on a white or black tee with the sketchbook look.  Akuma for whatever reason also has a red colorway.  Some words straight from Triumvir below:

We’re rolling out our Super Street Fighter X Collection. This is possibly the last that you will see Triumvir collaborating with the Street Fighter franchise. So for this particular collection, we’re doing a final push— opening it wide and allowing our retailers to book this highly sought over project. The aesthetics of this collection presents a raw feel with its sketched graphics highlighted with watercolor accents. We’re happy and proud with the result, and think that our consumers are going to like it a lot. There has already been a lot of talk within the gaming community, but this collection is created for both the hardcore gamers and the usual fashion fanatics.

TRIUMVIR x STREET FIGHTER PSYCHO BRIGADE VIDEO

Shadaloo Div. Psycho Brigade by Triumvir from BRANDONUS on Vimeo.

In the past collaborations with Capcom, Triumvir adapted the Street Fighter® franchise into clothing for the dedicated fan while keeping consistent with its own historical and military inspired aesthetics.

For their upcoming collection, Triumvir has not only created a line of apparel, but also an original entity to the Street Fighter® universe—the Psycho Brigade, an elite division within the Shadaloo Syndicate. A separate, dedicated site for the Shadaloo Psycho Brigade Collection (www.psychobrigade.com) will release new content on a weekly basis until its pre-order drop date, which is counted down by a timer featured on the website.

For week two’s update, Triumvir released the above lookbook teaser video, showcasing a couple of key pieces from the upcoming collection. The domestically produced Shadaloo Psycho Brigade Collection by Triumvir will be available for pre-order on December 22nd, 2009.

CAKEDOUT VOLUME 8

Cakedout, a division of Triumvir as you know just made a new drop last Friday so the pics above are the pieces.  If you like any of the tees (there are plenty of dope choices) go to www.cakedout.com and get yours.  Below is some background on the line's new drop:

With a satirical sense of humor and a severe infatuation in pop(ular) culture, the creative team behind CakedOut translates these influences into piercing and witty designs. For this upcoming Volume 8 collection, CakedOut focuses on the style and swagger of the 90’s and West Coast hip-hop. Through their creations, Mikey and Vincent nostalgically reminisce the past and apply these inspirations to poke fun at the present.

A fitting example of this is the Dream tee. By taking the iconic D.A.R.E. program logo, and assigning a new acronym (D.R.E.A.M. – Drugs Rule Every-thing Around Me,) the graphic becomes a commentary not on illegal narcot-ics, but rather the suspicious expansions of pharmaceutical companies even during a time of economic recession. Another key design is Electric Relax-ation. The prisoner giving thumbs up while being electrocuted is a comical means to point out the ironic glorification of troublemaking and mischief—a central theme of both the 90’s and CakedOut.

TRIUMVIR - HELL IS FOR HEROES (WINTER COLLECTION)

Here is Triumvir's new Winter Collection called Hell Is For Heroes.  I'm liking the look.  The jackets are definitely something that caught my attention right away.  I like the button ups and would love to see the denims up close.  Below is some background on this particular drop:

After staging the post-apocalyptic world through the autumn Blind Faith collection, Triumvir adds another layer to the epic by introducing the antagonist in its winter collection, entitled Hell is for Heroes. Influences of the collection include both fictional depictions of villains as well as the lengths that religious military orders would go for their beliefs historically. As a continuation of the storyline, Creative Director Brandon Cheng has conceptualized his vision of the maniacal antagonist's wardrobe. With a darker color scheme, a grittier feel, and a dispiriting overtone, pieces from the winter collection serve as a direct contrast to those of the fall.

Triumvir presents Hell is for Heroes to those who have unapologetically rooted for the villain all along.

One of the key highlights of the season includes the Knights Hospitallers M65 Jacket. Drawing inspiration from the heavy chainmail that Crusaders wore during their time, the rugged M65 model is constructed with sheen on the outer shell and heavy cotton canvas layering. This unwashed outer layer eventually develops its individuality by molding the wearer's body. Another noteworthy piece is the Panzerdivision Wool JacketÑthe fusion of a double-style leather motorcycle jacket, a pea coat, and a German panzer-division tank officer jacket. A black rose embroidery strategically placed on the heart of the jacket represents the woman subject of conflict who will be introduced in the future. It is through bold choices in these minute details that the collection unveils multiple dimensions of the narrative.

All pieces are produced domestically in Orange County with limited quantities: 50 Panzerdivision and 100
Knights Hospitallers M65 jackets.

Hell is for Heroes drops on Friday, November 13th.
