My boy El Prez just dropped some new heaters to get ya'll ready for his next project: The Daily Show. Below is a breakdown of what the project will entail.
"The Daily Show" is loosely flippin a concept about the effect mass media and 'the idiot box' has on our daily lives; from politics, to attitude and mentality. Some of the tracks are named after shows and characters and basically every track is a different channel. Some, such as the title track, are informative, like a CNN or MSNBC, and others, such as Supani@@a, are ig'nant and entertaining like Martin or Family Guy.I try to capture the whole scope of American society thru HD lens and throw it back to the audience in the 'half-hour' format they're used to. It's being mixed by Val the Vandle and has guest appearances from Indef (Diocese/aftermath), Dnez (Starz Ink/BEET music), J7, KU, Dale Danja (cheap$kate recs), and more, with production by Dae One, 3AM, JRK, Danja, and others.
