Just in time for Valentine's Day we get a project from my boy Klash that I introduced you to via his work with and on Rochelle Jordan's AlienPhase. For the lover's of music he drops this project which is a follow-up to Talentine. Klash gets a variety of folks to contribute, I'll let you peep the details below:
In 2010, Protostar Entertainment Group in conjunction with Neu Beginin Entertainment group released their debut collaborative project Talentine. The imminent release of the project which was released on Valentine’s Day, sparked conversation about the artists involved—Mat Randol (then known as Choze), Rochelle Jordan, Tru Quality and etc, as well as their perspectives on Valentine’s Day and love in general. Following precedent set with the project, Protostar releases the project’s follow-up today in the form of Talentine 2.
Surrounded around the same ideas of the artists involved opinions on love and relationships Talentine 2 was produced 90% in house by Protostar founder Klash, as well as featuring outside production from Inglewood Petroleum Contactors and Oddisee. The project also features collaborations from artists up and down the coast, Los Angeles and Portland, even out of the country in Canada. The project explores a wide variety of perspectives and attitudes towards love reflected in the diverse track listing which is as follows:
