PAC DIV - THE DIV RELEASE PARTY (PHOTO RECAP)

Last night I went to support some long time family that you've seen on this site from the beginning.  My fam Mibbs, Like and BeYoung or collectively as you know them Pac Div dropped their debut album The Div independently and as expected we celebrated.  A who's who of local hip hop came out to support, from Tiron, Ayomari, Dom Kennedy, Chris Focus, Lite aka Coolroy, Basik of Bleu Collar, Overdoz, El Prez, Thr33zy McFly and more came out.  Fashion trendsetters Mega of Black Scale and Nick Diamond of Diamond Supply Co. were there, DJ Spintelect as well as close friends and family of Pac Div.  It was a great time and I snapped a few pics to give you a peek.  Don't forget you can grab The DIV right here.

Not during SXSW but for a stop on the LRG Home Grown Music Tour Pac Div unleashes a new song, sits with OneNeckTwoChains, speaks on their chemistry which comes from basketball and how they've brought in on stage.  They also speak on production choices from Pharrell and Swiff D.  Check it out.

LA STEREO TV INTERVIEW w/ PAC DIV & SWIFF D (VIDEO) pt. 1 & 2

Here is the interview with Pac Div and Swiff D that the homies at LA Stereo TV did at the Pac Div Holiday Charity Event.  A good time had by all and it's always good to see them speaking on how they came up.  As always you can see their chemistry outside of the music and see that their friendship helps them put together dopeness on the music end.  Check it out.  Shouts to Val the Vandle.

Footage from that event that the entire FCC, sans myself was hanging out at. For those of you who don't know, Swiff has produced tracks for Pac Div and UNI. Mainly Pac Div's in-house production man, he has helmed beats for Women Problems, F.A.T. Boys 08 & Mayor (from my understanding). On top of that he's just a good guy to know.
