Last night I went to support some long time family that you've seen on this site from the beginning.  My fam Mibbs, Like and BeYoung or collectively as you know them Pac Div dropped their debut album The Div independently and as expected we celebrated.  A who's who of local hip hop came out to support, from Tiron, Ayomari, Dom Kennedy, Chris Focus, Lite aka Coolroy, Basik of Bleu Collar, Overdoz, El Prez, Thr33zy McFly and more came out.  Fashion trendsetters Mega of Black Scale and Nick Diamond of Diamond Supply Co. were there, DJ Spintelect as well as close friends and family of Pac Div.  It was a great time and I snapped a few pics to give you a peek.  Don't forget you can grab The DIV right here.

Met this dude here a couple weeks ago via DJ Sean G, DJ Wreckineyez who is Asher Roth's DJ.  He's in the semi-finals of the Complex x McDonald's DJ Battle.  So I need all of you to head over to Complex right now and vote him into the finals.  The dude is sick on the tables and cool guy.  Words from Wreckineyez:

If you didn't know, Pac Div spent some time with Pharrell in the studio...in the process at least 4 songs were made.  Well Broccoli is one of them, DJ Sean G played it for me at the Diamond Supply Co's new store opening.  He's played it at a few events and Pac Div has performed it a time or two.  Well last night was another time they did the song and Hip Hop Official was there to catch it.  So if you haven't had a chance to hear it...well here you go.

My boy Lathon from Acrylick took some photos of the Pac Div charity event.  In summary there were two large full tables of donated gifts (clothes & toys), local talent you see here, beautiful people and Sean G on the 1's & 2's...so you know that means it was a good time.  It took place at a discreet location in the hills, so if you missed it...this is a good as it gets for you.

Though the brand is San Francisco based I rolls with Mega and I like his line so whenever he puts out some new stuff it's getting love over here. Mega and Black Scale are also very supportive of the LA hip hop scene as they've showed love to Pac Div, Diz Gibran, Bleu Collar and more. I remember DJ Sean G telling me about this track before I left for Houston last summer, damn time flies...too lazy to upload my mp3...so just swipe Meka's. This was dropped on a mixtape if you didn't know...but this a "tagless" version if you haven't realized.
