It seems like MURS never stops working. There are tours, Paid Dues, Road to Paid Dues, albums with 9th Wonder, albums with Fashawn and everything else. And in between he's finding time to film good videos. So here I am just doing my due and sharing his new stuff.

I can honestly say that when it comes to L.A. music, I'm THE most versed in it. But that doesn't mean that I don't get some help and guidance along the way. As far as the I.E., if it weren't for Noa James and BlackCloud Music...I would have been ignorant to the vast amount of talent out that way. And with Noa James as an artist it's been great to see his growth [along with Curtiss King] and where it's gotten them now. Now on the Road to Paid Dues with MURS, Noa is getting to take the I.E. and Southern California to places all over the country. But that doesn't mean he's too busy to give us new music. MURS hits with a new video of a track produced by AESOP ROCK.  This is off the six song EP Varsity Blues 2.

Varsity Blues 2 EP, the sequel to 2002's first installment. Murs (just about) kicks drugs and alcohol, pulls a gun on the 'other guy', dedicates one song to a dead love, another to a lost groupie, and ends by breaking clean with maybe his toughest habit, Los Angeles. Varsity Blues 2 is the sound of a young man strangling his weaknesses one by one, only to discover that nobody gets them all. Production by Aesop Rock, Terrace Martin, Issue, Foudnation, Karl Berringer and Droop-E.
