THIS SATURDAY: BE AT @BROKECHELLA

It's been a minute since Eazee Street went to an event featuring plenty of LIVE performances from the LA Homies. I'm talking about artists that have been down with the site for years now like Shawn Chrystopher, Mann, El Prez, Raven Sorvino, BEeFF, Coolroy, Hugh Augustine and of course Eazee Street's resident artist Chris Focus. So come through and watch all my folks and more. There will be more than hip-hop at this event so get ready to hang out all day and night and enjoy music, art and more. I mean it's not like you're going to be at Coachella [who goes to that shit?]

I missed this event since I was coming down with the flu, but if you went or heard about it, Big Sean, AraabMUSIK and of course, Uncle Snoop got together at a secret location to rock out for some lucky fans. All brought to the people courtesy of adidas. Relive the night or see what you missed.

WORDSPIT & TEAM ILLeSt: RISE OF THE ILLeSt! EVENT RECAP (VIDEO)

From my east coast homie DJ Laser, read the below:

On September 26th, 2011 WordSpit and Team ILLest held a concert for a cause titled "Rise of The ILLest" at the legendary New York City venue S.O.B.'s. With sponsorship from international lifestyle brand and clothing company Rocawear, in partnership with MTV's Staying Alive Foundation, Wordspit and Team ILLest were able to reach their goal of raising awareness and money for the continuation of HIV/AIDS prevention.

Rise of The ILLest, hosted by www.YouHeardTheNew.com's own Low Key has since been labeled as New York City's best event to end the summer of 2011! With multiple prizes (ticket giveaways, snap backs and CD's) raffled off to help raise money for MTV's Staying Alive Foundation, the night radiated with positive energy and love.

Gracing the stage with amazing performances were R&B male trio Phaze 3, Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Olamide, R&B songstress Cocoa Sarai, Hip- Hop recording artist Dremur and headliner/creator of Rise of The ILLest, Wordspit. An estimated 300+ people were in attendance creating an excellent atmosphere for the night.

Below please find a link to our Rise Of The ILLest recap video capturing all aspects of the this epic event. Get an inside look to the performances and thoughts of each artist as they graced the stage.  A big thanks to Rocawear, MTV's Staying Alive Foundation, New Era, Sony Music Entertainment, Inc. and everyone who supported our efforts! Please help us spread the word and share this email with your friends and family.

SNOOP DOGG 40TH C'DAY PARTY (PHOTO RECAP)

A few photo highlights of where I was at last night.  Guests like Far East Movement, Daz, Warren G, Slim the Mobster, Tyrese, DJ Battlecat, Terrace Martin, Baron Davis, AB, Russell Westbrook, Matt Kemp, and Dr. Dre to name a few.  Chaka Khan was also there and sang Happy Birthday to Snoop, and Bootsy Collins performed for Snoop.  Snoop even kicked a live freestyle over during their performance.  An eventful night.  Shouts to Huffington Post for the pics.
