A "gas mask" created from deconstructed Nike SB "Cheech & Chong" kicks. The popular 4/20 inspired pair gets the official 4/20 function. Interesting piece of artwork. I don't think this is for sale however.

I saw an exhibit from JaQ Dutch and GUD Guerrilla not too long ago and it was dope. Well she's back and I suggest you all go and see it. More info below:
There will be an open bar, music provided by DJ El Rey and other "guddies." To spread the word about the event, JaQ is putting up a giant version of her logo on the display window location of the show, and documenting it on her Facebook page, which you can check here: www.facebook.com/jaqdutch.

KRINK x EXIT MAGAZINE x ABSOLUT (VIDEO)
Want to know how we got here to the above? All you have to do is watch and read below...simple right?
With the bottle as his inspiration, Krink has created fifteen individual custom-designed ABSOLUT LIMITED EDITION bottles, with each 70cl bottle being uniquely customized using the artist’s signature; KRINK ink, in striking black, silver and white.
Stephen Toner, Editor of Exit Magazine said, “Exit’s relationship with Absolut spans the past decade. Both share a unique vision of imaginative partnerships with artists and groundbreaking projects. This Autumn/Winter issue we commissioned one of Exit’s favourite street artists, Krink, to bring his creative ideas to life and make the present exceptional with his own interpretation of the ABSOLUT LIMITED EDITION bottle.”
Krink commented, “The shape of the Absolut bottle is a design classic; I wanted to treat it as a sculpture. The bottle shape is iconic enough to represent their brand without showing their logo. The interaction between the drips and the bottle bring two iconic elements together, one helping the other.”

ABSOLUT ART TRAILER (VIDEO)
I've always had an interest in Absolut campaigns and their artistic influence on pop culture just as well as their continued desire to bridge art and the brand. With that said check this out:
The Absolut company officially connected with the art world in 1985. That year Andy Warhol painted “Absolut Warhol,” which became the first of the brands art advertisements.
For the first time ever, the entire collection is now gathered in Sweden where it will get its permanent home at the new Historical Museum of Wine and Spirits. In 2012, the museum will move into new premises at Djurgården in Stockholm, with the Absolut Art Collection as a new offering to its visitors.
The ABSOLUT Art Collection today compromise more than 800 works in a wide range of media from Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, Helmut Newton, Damien Hirst, Louise Bourgeois, Annie Liebovitz, David Shrigley, Douglas Gordon, Sylvie Fleury, Dan Wolgers, Linn Fernström and hundreds of other artists, designers and photographers.

THE BUTCHER BLOCK TV SEASON 1/ep. 2: PAUL HARDING (VIDEO)
Saw this at HighSnobiety, the still made me think of Gremlins so I tuned in and figured I'd share it as well. A bit of a break from Hip Hop, but it relates to plenty things you hip hop heads grew up on. Oh for the record...it wasn't a Gremlin, but you'll recognize the character.
Paul Harding is a true example of a childhood passion becoming an adult’s dream career. An illustrator turned sculptor & toy designer, Paul has created coveted and meticulously detailed comic character figures for giants Marvel & DC Comics while also being behind some indy favorites in the form of sport, movie and his new priority, hip-hop personality collectibles. Paul talks about his early appetite for toys and how music has played a roll in his inspiration.
