I've been telling you about Klash for sometime now, he laced all the production on Rochelle Jordan's Alien Phase EP.  That EP has been making it's way around, and not just the blog but industry folks have been talking from what I'm hearing.  Anyways here is a beat he made then had his friend Hiro Vansky animate the beat.  Check it out and spread the word around.

DIPLO f/ LIL JON - U DON'T LIKE ME (MUSIC VIDEO)

I know there are some Diplo fans out here, plus I'm hearing good things about this particular visual so peep it:

Diplo, the reputed international man of taste, has tapped Taiwanese production house NMA to create the video for his single, “U Don’t Like Me” featuring ubiquitous media personality and rapper Lil Jon. NMA, who was responsible for the animated news reenactments of the Tiger Woods fiasco and other public debacles put together an appropriately out-there clip that neatly summarizes the spastic vibe of the song. The aesthetic heavily references popular video games from the early aughts, placing our protagonists squarely in a bizarre yet no less entertaining context. The unlikely collaboration takes shape visually in a myriad of different settings, the two producers facing off in a gun battle, break dance fighting, racing cars and under-water final round. Even the animated dancing baby makes a rare cameo appearance!

So I've heard the name, haven't met him but here is his a video from local emcee SPEAK.  Some dope visuals done with stop motion.  The video was done by Lila Burns.  Check it out now...perfect to watch when the weather is like this.

A cool animated clip involving characters of the Stick Monster Lab of Seoul, Korea that was done for Nike.  To go along with it there is an installation and apparel that can be purchased in Seoul...but since we can't really go there just because I didn't bother to post any of those images.  I did think the video was cool so I'm sharing that with you.  Enjoy.

A nice animated short brought to my attention by Y-O as he posted it on UNI's new blog over at their website.  This is a perfect little cartoon with Valentine's coming up.  Plus the way male/female relationships have become over the past few years (neither guys or gals seem to want to be sensitive) the story is something to think about.  Enjoy.

“The ear is actually the key element of the film, shot in RED and partly made in 3d animation. Throughout the film, the ear and inner ear as a whole turn themselves into an EarBrige as they get crossed by a bridge. The EarBridge is part of a public project proposal for Baku, Azerbaijan that includes a number of important international contemporary artists.”

Spotted this on HighSnobiety, I used to rock Cortez, but who in LA hasn't???  I'm not on 'em like I used to be with all the new styles...but I'm always interested in animation, so I peeped it and thought it was pretty cool.  Peep.
