So my good folks at Broccoli City now have their own Vodka...actually I'll let them explain:

Blackleaf Vodka is a 5 times distilled premium wheat vodka. It is created in the Cognac region of France and imported into the United States. Our wheat is 100% organic and the organic integrity of the product is maintained during the production process. The entire bottle is 100% recyclable and features an all‐wood reusable cork which is taint free and air tight.

BCTV: DOM KENNEDY LISTENING PARTY (VIDEO)

It's pretty self explanatory but basically if you missed this event last night Broccoli City caught some of the action for you.  I don't think what Dom Kennedy is dropping soon is what anyone expected...but that's a good thing.  A very good sounding project and something that is a good direction musically...you'll see.

BROCCOLI CITY presents UCLA HIP HOP PANEL (VIDEO RECAP)

I showed you the photos and now here is the video.  With the video you will get a glimpse of how intense it became and some of the topics touched.  To get an better look into what was touched on and the various key points made from all sides...you really had to be there.  If you know anyone who went you need to check in with them and let them explain it all.  If you see another one of these panels advertised I advise that you go...these type of thing in hip hop don't get enough shine, we'd rather discuss what Beyonce was wearing when her and Jay-Z got into an argument before the Grammys.  I'm just saying...  Shouts to Broccoli City.

BROCCOLI CITY presents UCLA HIP HOP PANEL (CYPRESSOLOGY/EAZEE STREET PHOTO RECAP)

Here are some photos that my folks Cypressology took as we covered the UCLA Hip Hop Panel last Thursday.  The panel featured Devi Dev, Director (Little) X, Melyssa Ford, Nipsey Hussle, Tony Touch and Professor Keyes.  The panel was very intense but a wealth of knowledge was definitely dropped.  X is a well informed gentleman and Melyssa Ford proved she was more than just a pretty face and curvy body as she made many valid points.  Tony Touch was able to give a real sense of history to things and Nipsey Hussle showed many that though he is a product of gangbanging, he is very much an articulate young man with a wide perspective of the world on all sides.  Devi Dev shared a good chunk of insight on the politics of the industry as well as what the general public needs to do to improve their radio experience.  Things I've told people for years.  Video is coming together surely so in the meantime just check the pics out.  If you want to see the rest of the pics just head over here.
