SKOTCH DAVIS F/ DOM KENNEDY - BRING THE ROSES (MUSIC DOWNLOAD)

Skotch dropped this to me yesterday but my DM's on Twitter are the worst things at time.  Anyways he gets Araab Musik on the beat and calls up his bi-coastal connect Dom Kennedy for the feature.  Picking up where that Feelin It/Killin It left off from Future Street/Drug Sounds left off.  Download and spread the wealth, just remember who supplied you.

Speaking of the Just Be Cool movement...here are some clips of Skotch Davis' performance at Leaders of the New Cool. Skotch was a last minute but welcome addition to the show. He ran through a quick set including his Dumb It Down aka Freestyle (aka Dumin' Out) and his popular song Paradin' which I featured in the clip. Shouts to Skotch, the LAx Paperboys and the Just Be Cool movement.

JBC COOL RELIEF CONCERT - EAZEE STREET TV (VIDEO RECAP)

As you all know my family, the LAx Paperboys and the Queen of L.A.' Hip Hop: Devi Dev put together a last minute benefit concert for the people of Haiti a couple weeks back. It was a huge success with a packed house, ticket sales and sold merchandise going to raise money for Yele.org. LA acts like Nipsey Hussle, UNI, Pac Div, TiRon, Diz Gibran, Dom Kennedy, Strong Arm Steady and more rocked out. Thousands of dollars, 4 cars full of donated goods and more came from this event. A very good day for Hip Hop, especially L.A. Hip Hop. Peep the vid to get a brief idea of what went down.
