2NITE: TALIB KWELI at THE ROXY w/ SPECIAL GUESTS

A free All Ages event if you bring a warmth item: blanket, scarf or gloves.  One of those will get you a ticket.  Guest DJ sets from my folks Uncle Pauly and LuxeBrown as well as opening performances from Jayson Rose, Tunji and of course Strong Arm Steady, on top of that ICON will be performing at On the Rox; lots of hip hop on Sunset tonight.  The doors will close once they hit capacity, there are no special lists so get there early.

Black Milk and his live band tore down the world famous, Roxy Theater in West Hollywood for his "Album of The Year" record release party. He performed a selection of cuts off the new album as well as rocked the crowd with choice tracks of past projects. Dope dope show for the LA crowd. - Daylan

Next week my boy Uncle Pauly is back with another event at The Roxy, he has Macy Gray LIVE in concert as well as Nikki & Rich.  If you didn't know Uncle Pauly is responsible for a good deal of the dope shows popping at The Roxy over the past few months.  If you know any Macy Gray fans, spread the word.

SUNDAY NIGHT: BLACK MILK LIVE f. UNI, FASHAWN, EL PREZ & TIRON

It's going down Sunday night at the Roxy.  Black Milk is in town to celebrate the release of his "Album of the Year" LP.  It was on Billboard and is getting great reviews.  He'll grace the stage as well as DJ Houseshoes, Fashawn and local talents El Prez & TiRon.  I also just found out that Bishop Lamont was just added to the bill via Black Milk.  It's going to be a dope show as UNI will host and Black Milk will bring out his band.  I approve...so see you there.

i don't think I posted this before...some days the videos all become a blur.  If you missed this show, then you missed a show.  Dom represented for Leimert Park and Los Angeles well as he sold out the show as the headliner.  He's come a long way and put in a lot of WORK to get to this point.  Congrats fam.  Video by Calmatic...shouts to JBC.

KENDRICK LAMAR - I DO THIS RMX (LIVE) f. UNI, SKEME & JAY ROCK (VIDEO)

A historical moment in L.A. Hip Hop took place on the Roxy's stage last saturday.  Actually a few, for now here is a clip via LA Stereo TV of Kendrick Lamar doing his summer anthem "I Do This", but he decided to do it in remix form and brought UNI, Skeme and Jay Rock out to add their verses to it.  A great way to bring his set to a huge climax as the crowd went crazy.  Peep it.

Here are some photos the homie K. Stokes took while in the thick of the action at The Roxy this past Saturday.  Skeme, El Prez (f. TreeHouseClub), Kendrick Lamar and Pac Div put on a memorable show for Los Angeles.  Kendrick brought out Jay Rock and then UNI & Skeme to do the "I Do This" RMX, and Pac Div dimmed the lights and showed up with Marz Lovejoy and TiRon.  They also did some classics for the true fans and loyal folks.  If you want to see all the pics go here NOW!!!
