Kenna is proud to present the brand new video for "Chains", off his forthcoming EP Land 2 Air Chronicles. The video and song feature production and vocals from longtime collaborator Shimmy Hoffa (AKA Chad Hugo) as well as Paul Banks of Interpol.

A free All Ages event if you bring a warmth item: blanket, scarf or gloves.  One of those will get you a ticket.  Guest DJ sets from my folks Uncle Pauly and LuxeBrown as well as opening performances from Jayson Rose, Tunji and of course Strong Arm Steady, on top of that ICON will be performing at On the Rox; lots of hip hop on Sunset tonight.  The doors will close once they hit capacity, there are no special lists so get there early.

2MORROW: HUMP DAY at FAT BEATS LA w/ TiRON, AYOMARI, CASEY VEGGIES, BAMBU, PERFECTO & TUNJI

Fat Beats keeps the party going with more L.A. Tonight it goes down as El Prez, Alexander Spit and the 87 Stick Up Kids take over Crazy Girls to rock out.  This will be quite an experience if you know where Crazy Girls is.  And just as a bonus I'm dropping this song that El Prez and Tunji were featured on by an artist named E Reece.  IT's been floating around the nets a couple days but I forgot to post.  Enjoy and see you tonight.

Just in time for the long weekend comes the laid back, chilled, Cali vibe of The Freshmen's "Hello There" music video, directed by Mike Ho of One Shot Media. I discovered this song last summer via the homeboy Bad Lucc, and immediately loved it. I sent it to a few of you and it got some great feedback - now the visuals are here for everyone's eyeballs. Look for HUGE things from these guys very soon.

EL PREZ & TREEHOUSE CLUB THIS WEEKEND

Tonight you need to be at On the Rox to see the homie El Prez with his THC compadres as they take the stage with Kendrick Lamar, Tunji, CurT@!N$, Overdoz and more.  The people are talking so it should be a packed house.  Then tomorrow come drink and party with El Prez and the TreeHouse Club as they welcome Sean Falyon back to Los Angeles.  This will be a listening party for Sean Falyon and his newest project "Sean Falyon Be Everywhere".  There is a list of artists on the flyer that will be on hand and from a phone call I just received it looks like Ab-Soul will be in the house as well to celebrate his recent release of LongTerm 2.  I hope you have it.  So it looks like the FCC, TDE, SFBE and more will be busy all weekend; and you should catch up with them.
