LES DANGEREUX by RED FORTY

Les Dangereux from RedForty on Vimeo.

A nice animated short brought to my attention by Y-O as he posted it on UNI's new blog over at their website.  This is a perfect little cartoon with Valentine's coming up.  Plus the way male/female relationships have become over the past few years (neither guys or gals seem to want to be sensitive) the story is something to think about.  Enjoy.

UNI f. FASHAWN - PULP FICTION MUSIC VIDEO TRAILER

This looks to be as good as Thurz and YO had been explaining to me when it was being shot. I wasn't able to be in or get any BTS footage of this video because we were filming Floss Angeles that same weekend. APLUS FILMZ is behind this one, and if you didn't know this is a track off of A Love Supreme. When they played this song for me ages ago I knew this needed a video. Be ready for when this drops.

UNI x MTV SUCKER FREE COUNTDOWN

Because some of you may have missed it yesterday here are a few clips from the countdown that LA's very own, Inglewood to be exact, UNI hosted yesterday. Other clips of UNI will be shown on MTV2 throughout the week. I found every clip but the one where they show the artwork for UNI's first project: Fried Chicken & Watermelon (I did that). These are the 1st and final clips, to see the others go here. Enjoy.

THROWBACK THURZDAYS | TONITE - DJ QUIK

As you know it's Thursday, and that means Thurzday is gonna give us a throwback hit. Well in tune with C-San (another Inglewood emcee) dropping an entire mixtape in ode to the west coast icon DJ Quik, Thurz picks Tonite as this Thursday's choice. If you haven't get that A Love Supreme, Land of the Kings and C-San's I Wanna Work With Quik, ASAP.

THROWBACK THURZDAYS - SILENT TREATMENT: THE ROOTS

So they actually got me out on the basketball court yesterday as I got in some runs with Thurzday, Skeme & Justin from them 4th Quarter boys.  HOPE was supposed to be in effect but he ended up having some work to do...a good look that I'll be able to tell you about soon.  As we hooped Thurzday decided on the Throwback...and here it is, Silent Treatment by The Roots.  Enjoy, you know The Roots had a huge influence on how UNI came to be...and if you haven't downloaded it yet, A Love Supreme is here.
