KENDRICK LAMAR on MTV SUCKER FREE SUNDAY (VIDEO)

If you missed it last night, I didn't...but Kendrick was the XXL "Show & Prove" feature on MTV2's Sucker Free Countdown.  He touches on his influence and drive...a quick segment, but a well done segment. It's a good look for a local talent, check it out and share with your folks.  I see Calmatic got some of his footage featured in the clip too.

UNI x MTV SUCKER FREE COUNTDOWN

Because some of you may have missed it yesterday here are a few clips from the countdown that LA's very own, Inglewood to be exact, UNI hosted yesterday. Other clips of UNI will be shown on MTV2 throughout the week. I found every clip but the one where they show the artwork for UNI's first project: Fried Chicken & Watermelon (I did that). Now I've had this video up on my vimeo page for quite some time...I mean this video was filmed over a year ago.  But I uploaded at the wrong quality, so I finally re-exported and re-uploaded and it looks much better.  So in celebration of throwback thursdays (no pun intended) I'm reposting this video once again.  I filmed, edited and all that good stuff so I could share with you all.  So peep a hot day in the fall of 07 as I hung out with UNI, Tomas Whitmore, El Prez and more as this MTV masterpiece was created.  I holla back soon.

UNI WINS MTV's LA BREAKOUT ARTIST

So my boys won that VMA contest I told you to vote for, so all that did...THEY THANK YOU. They got the word on Sunday before the VMA's started...so at that VMA afterparty at OperaCrimson you know we partied hard. Word to Thurz, lol...eyes were lower than mine...and I'm mixed with asian. Be on the lookout for Soul Hop and the Video Release Party (brought to you by Eazee Street).

Don't Forget to keep voting for UNI at www.la.mtv2.com to get them on the VMA's next month. They are the only hip hop act right now and it would be a good look for hip hop and the west coast as a whole...so do your western due and go...u can vote over and over again...there is no limit....u can get off like 15 or more votes in like 5min. So GO
