UNI - LAND OF THE KINGS (VIDEO)

Like I said, the video would debut today on mtvU and now it's available to watch online...the song is very good and the visuals that Tomas just created for it make the song that much greater. This looks to be a monumental track for UNI and I hope it scores Tomas a damn VMA (he deserves 2 at this point). I was there for the making of it, but you know when it comes to Tomas you are going to get more than you saw filmed...and with UNI & Ro, it's already magic waiting to come alive. Congrats guys...this is a good look all the way around.

UNI x EAZEE STREET | LAND OF THE KINGS VIDEO SHOOT (BEHIND THE SCENES)

So Wednesday I hung out with the Inglewood duo we know as UNI...they were busy filming the video for Land of the Kings.  This is the track they have going on with Mountain Dew's Green Label Sound.  The song itself has an epic and theatric sound so it only makes sense that the video gets that across visually.  Well Tomas Whitmore once again takes the reigns and though you see alot here from the pics I posted...you still have no idea what Tomas has in store...like Hollywood Hiatus (someone give that man a VMA, thanks).  I didn't even get to take the night shots for the video...but I know I was ready to give Thurzday a quick fade when I first got to the set...I felt like he had me lost on the set of a real life Jurassic Park, but it was great fun so I thank them for having me again.  I've only missed 1 video but for good reason.  Anyway enjoy the pics.  Don't forget to get more info on the track right here.

Black Moon - I Got Cha Opin

Thurzday keeps em coming on Throwback Thurzdays...this time he chooses a Black Moon favorite.  I was a big Black Moon fan back in the day...How Many MC's, Who Got the Props, Buck 'Em Down and the above were in constant rotation.  They constantly were number one on YO MTV Raps countdowns as well as Rap City.  Though the commercial success wasn't as big as their legendary status this was still one of the hottest acts in Hip Hop back in the day.  Even Curtis was a fan as he did a dope freestyle over this instrumental.  Peep it out...oh and A Love Supreme out now and get that Land of the Kings.
