On this day 3 years ago my "brother" Thurzday, while a part of the dynamic duo UNI, was the first post on this very site.  With the first blog entry for www.eazeest.com I introduced readers to UNI and their leak "Supreme".  Well three years later Thurz is back with his new song for his new solo project "L.A. Riot".  Just in time for the 19 year anniversary of the L.A. Riots, which is a heavy influence of the project, Thurz drops his "Los Angeles" track.  He let me here this a while ago and I'm proud of the direction he is looking to explore with his first solo effort.  The solo project will feature Black Thought, Aloe Blacc and Miguel, as well as feature production from DJ Khalil, Ro Blvd, Terrace Martin, THX and more.  So sit with this and know that any updates will definitely be on this site.  Who's ready to riot for their beliefs...?

I was just with UNI & Ro last night so it's only right I should post this once I came across it on the nets today.  A break down of the project is below:

So I went to the video premiere party last night and I was impressed by the visuals but I already expected a great video in the first place. This is one of the few videos where Tomas Whitmore wasn't available to direct but Fredo and the Aplus Filmz crew are not to be slept on either. So for those who didn't make it out last night...or maybe you just want to see whenever you feel like it, press play and enjoy. Oh and that Land of the Kings RMX that's in my inbox is going to be a problem...GET READY!!!

Like I said, the video would debut today on mtvU and now it's available to watch online...the song is very good and the visuals that Tomas just created for it make the song that much greater. This looks to be a monumental track for UNI and I hope it scores Tomas a damn VMA (he deserves 2 at this point). I was there for the making of it, but you know when it comes to Tomas you are going to get more than you saw filmed...and with UNI & Ro, it's already magic waiting to come alive. Congrats guys...this is a good look all the way around.

UNI x EAZEE STREET | LAND OF THE KINGS VIDEO SHOOT (BEHIND THE SCENES)

So Wednesday I hung out with the Inglewood duo we know as UNI...they were busy filming the video for Land of the Kings.  This is the track they have going on with Mountain Dew's Green Label Sound.  The song itself has an epic and theatric sound so it only makes sense that the video gets that across visually.  Well Tomas Whitmore once again takes the reigns and though you see alot here from the pics I posted...you still have no idea what Tomas has in store...like Hollywood Hiatus (someone give that man a VMA, thanks).  I didn't even get to take the night shots for the video...but I know I was ready to give Thurzday a quick fade when I first got to the set...I felt like he had me lost on the set of a real life Jurassic Park, but it was great fun so I thank them for having me again.  I've only missed 1 video but for good reason.  Anyway enjoy the pics.  Don't forget to get more info on the track right here.
