EL PREZ' MONSTER WEEKEND: SHOWS, SHOWS, PARTIES, SHOWS...

This dude El Prez is everywhere this weekend and if you peep the flyers you can see he's all over.  On top of that he'll be at Mibbs (of Pac Div) and my bday party...#GEMINISHIT.  You gotta give it up to Prez man he's everywhere and if you want to see a dope show then you'll be at one or better yet, BOTH OF THESE.

EL PREZ x MUSIC DEALERS & LIVE NATION at HOUSE OF BLUES (VIDEO)

El Prez won a contest of sorts recently and was able to rock out at the Foundation Room at the House of Blues last two weeks ago.  The event is put on by Live Nation and the Music Dealers and is a good opportunity for emerging artists.  Here is the recap and soon there will be footage of the actual performance from El Prez.  Check this out.

EL PREZ & SHAWN CHRYSTOPHER IN-STORE at REGAL TENANT THIS SATURDAY

EL PREZ LIVE at ON THE ROX (CYPRESSOLOGY PHOTO RECAP)

Here are a few quality photos from Cypressology as we were at On the Rox to cover El Prez LIVE set for the Freddie Gibbs show.  El Prez was able to bring out all the features for the Summit At the Sands track as you can see from the pics.  That's right Shawn Chrys, DNEZ & Chris Focus were all on hand to rock that song and add some extra energy to the show.  El Prez rocked a bunch of tracks from the Animal Style! project and the crowd was feeling it.  Video footage should be ready soon.  If you want to see all the pics go here.

It's finally here and I could talk about it but I'll tell you it's very enjoyable and you need to have it in your hands already...presented by DJ Booth.net, 2 Dopeboyz, IM-King, the FCC and more...but if that's not enough I'll let El Prez break it down on his own:

This is my first true solo project since ‘08 so I held nothing back and brought the best out of myself to give the people an amazing project and look into the FCC/ “Tree House”“Animal Style!” derived from a hamburger chain that originated in SoCal called In-N-Out, and refers to a special way they prepare the burger and fries that only the locals and savvy customers even knew existed, on a “secret” menu. Being the hamburger aficionado I am (lol), I felt my music and this “food for thought” I was cooking up on this project was made by the city of angels and its inhabitants, and should only be available to them and the people who truly wanted to enjoy my product. For the fans who would scratch, claw, ditch school/work, just to get their hands on some El Prez music, “Animal Style!” was made for them.  Lifestyle in Los Angeles, circa 2010.

Another big reason for the project being named after a burger is because whenever I think of an In-N-Out burger, it reminds me of sunny CA, from the palm trees, to the women and year-round warm weather. In other words, it reminds me of home, and putting this project out is my way of opening the doors of my home so the rest of the world can see how we live.

El Prez drops a video from the forthcoming Animal Style!  This track is produced by LAUSD and features Shawn Chrys on a verse and Polyester the Saint on the hook.  The video was done by Aplus Filmz and is one of the cleanest videos I've seen...great clarity I'll say.  I saw this the other day and couldn't wait til ya'll saw it.  Now watch it and share it with everyone you know.

A new leak from El Prez' project Animal Style popped up yesterday but I never posted...partly because I was working on the above artwork.  Animal Style! will be a problem trust me.  That FCC ish...yup!!!  Check out El Prez' words below:

My newest project, "Animal Style!" is set to release next Monday, February 15th, everywhere online, so here's a leak from the project to whet peoples appetites. It's called "Victory Lapse", it features Donwill and Von Pea from the rap group Tanya Morgan, and is produced by The A3.

EL PREZ & THE FCC: LEADERS OF THE NEW COOL (PHOTOS)

Here are a couple pictures my lil homie Matthieux took during El Prez' set at the Leaders of the New Cool show this past Tuesday.  Due to some technical difficulties Prez wasn't able to deliver the full set for a number of his fans that showed up but those who were there enjoyed the brief yet VERY LIVE set.  Prez even brought out the band and had the crowd rocking to tracks from Animal Style that have yet to be released yet.  If you want to see more pics from El Prez' set featuring the FCC simply go here.  And expect to see more photos via Matthieux on the blog as he'll be working with Eazee Street on future projects.  To see more of his prior work check out his site here.
