Eight windows at the store served as exhibits for some of the greatest innovations from Nike in the past couple of years. Select Nike retailers will be carrying this collection that releases tomorrow. I'm really feeling the collection on the basketball side of things [pictured above]. You've seen the campaign "Be Bold. Be True" in an earlier post and now I get to show off the details. My personal favorites are the Kobe's and the bomber jacket. BE BOLD. BE TRUE: NIKE Black History Month Campaign [VIDEO]

To celebrate Black History Month, Nike presents "Be Bold. Be True." The new web film, dedicated to all rebels with a cause, features Kevin Durant and an exclusive musical track produced by 9th Wonder. Striking imagery of gritty playground basketball courts, street art and the Nike BHM 2013 collection is accompanied by an inspirational spoken word piece that encourages the fearless and bold pursuit of one's goals and dreams. 

"Be Bold. Be True." was produced and directed by We Are Not Pilgrims. The spoken-word piece was written and performed by Joekenneth Museau. Street Etiquette handled styling responsibilities. #BEBOLDBETRUE #BHM

Nike Basketball 2013 All-Star Footwear Collection

Nike Basketball is embarking on an extraterrestrial mission for the forthcoming All-Star Game festivities in Houston. The mission control center in Texas, widely know by its radio call sign “Houston,” provides the creative inspiration for a special collection of shoes for of-this-world basketball anomaly’s LeBron James,Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant. NIKE AIR HUARACHE BASKETBALL 2012 STEALTH/BLUE

Yeah, I'm probably going to need these.  No release date for these, at least in the U.S., might not stop me from getting them anyway.  Out of all the shoe news I've seen this week this is the one that turned my head.

NIKE ZOOM KOBE 7 "YEAR OF THE DRAGON"

I've been digging plenty of the branding for the new Kobe shoe this year...but if there is a particular style I want (read NEED) it's this here.  With it being Chinese New Year and all, I'm sure these are going to drop any day now.  The colorway, the detail, the packaging...all winners in my book. Once I get these please believe I'll be instagramming these, lol. Thoughts?  More pics inside the post.

This was for the shoes the three brands did for Black History Month...the three brands in unison honored three athletes for Black History Month.  Their picks: Dr. J, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.  It's dope to see Kobe considered a historical athlete while he's still in the prime of his career.  Yes I said prime...he's still the best player on the floor if it's a Laker game.  The videos feature Bun B, Freddie Gibbs and Mick Boogie, enjoy.

KOBE BRYANT: THE BLACK MAMBA (TRAILER 2)

The full film will drop during All Star Weekend, you know that time when Kobe will get his hands and feet imprinted in front of the historical Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd.  As you can see in this trailer, Kanye West is also on board for this.  Peep it.
