NIKE Black History Month Collection Drops This Weekend

Select Nike retailers will be carrying this collection that releases tomorrow. I'm really feeling the collection on the basketball side of things [pictured above]. You've seen the campaign "Be Bold. Be True" in an earlier post and now I get to show off the details. My personal favorites are the Kobe's and the bomber jacket. Hit the jump to see the details of each shoe as well as the lifestyle shoes and apparel.

To celebrate Black History Month, Nike presents "Be Bold. Be True." The new web film, dedicated to all rebels with a cause, features Kevin Durant and an exclusive musical track produced by 9th Wonder. Striking imagery of gritty playground basketball courts, street art and the Nike BHM 2013 collection is accompanied by an inspirational spoken word piece that encourages the fearless and bold pursuit of one's goals and dreams.

"Be Bold. Be True." was produced and directed by We Are Not Pilgrims. The spoken-word piece was written and performed by Joekenneth Museau. Street Etiquette handled styling responsibilities. #BEBOLDBETRUE #BHM

EVER HIGHER presented by NIKE, CONVERSE & BRAND JORDAN (VIDEO)

This was for the shoes the three brands did for Black History Month...the three brands in unison honored three athletes for Black History Month.  Their picks: Dr. J, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.  It's dope to see Kobe considered a historical athlete while he's still in the prime of his career.  Yes I said prime...he's still the best player on the floor if it's a Laker game.  The videos feature Bun B, Freddie Gibbs and Mick Boogie, enjoy.
