After reading this article over at HipHop DX about how the Police targeted one of Nipsey's shows to do a gang sweep really upset me. I don't condone the gang lifestyle but it's a choice some people have chosen...we could get into the all the reasons why...but either way these are people at the end of the day. To me, to target an event where people are celebrating one of their own turning their life around for the better is very lame and spiteful. If KKK were gathering to celebrate their music which I'm sure would suggest racism, bigotry, etc...I guarantee the police would never raid their event to try and catch members of a hate group. All I can say is keep doing your thing Nipsey...the streets, the nets and the people are behind you.
