Ummm I watched the Halloween movies when I was younger but didn't follow them like I did the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises. But I know Mike Myers was a bad mofo...but what Rob Zombie has done with this franchise has me interested. I'm about to see the 1st remake so i get hyped about this sequel here.

The original Halloween movies used cookie cuter scripts, and plot lined, they made no real attempts to "go outside the box," Jamie Lee (in the later) didn't help much. The first Rob Zombie adaptation (as in his nature) was a quite good -eg. The rape scene in the asylum, such thing have happened countless times in the past, and (for this series) a little outrageous. If the second half is as good as the first, it will be great.
