I've always been a Freddy Kruger fan so I was interested to see how things would turn out when they said they were remaking the franchise. I was pleased with Texas Chainsaw and Friday the 13th but I have yet to see the Halloween remakes...though I've heard they were good. The media is saying most of the scenes look dead on the original...I have no real problem with that if they are just modernized. The earlier Freddy movies were on point so if they can keep a dark tone to them, we alright. Peep the clip...too bad the movie won't be ready until April 30th, 2010.
Ummm I watched the Halloween movies when I was younger but didn't follow them like I did the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises. But I know Mike Myers was a bad mofo...but what Rob Zombie has done with this franchise has me interested. I'm about to see the 1st remake so i get hyped about this sequel here.

For the fact that my birthday is the 13th of June...anything including the numbers 1 or 3 usually catch my attention. So the fact that Friday the 13th was getting a redux, you know I looked twice. Now with the producers of the Texas Chain redux behind this...it seems this could potentially be good...especially since the Jason franchise had gotten rather comedic and cheesy (but I'm silently a fan anyways) as of late. So just in time for Valentine's I have an early gift that chicks who look like this can feel free to take me to...YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Spotted this at my boy E Dub's spot.
