So let's do something a bit different real quick...you all know I dig art, visuals, modern architecture, fly kicks, etc besides dope music.  So with that said we're going to start highlighting some more art.  This isn't the first time as I've posted works by INSA among others as well as invites to gallery openings.  Well the homie Jaq Dutch is getting ready for her art show on 10.10.10, so leading up to the event she's been showing some of her work.  Every week she drops a visual...if you notice they are all inspired by movies we all know about.  This week is Silence of the Lambs.  Check out a couple others she did below.  I'll get the info about the show to you soon and everyone should come out and check it out.  You can learn more about her at www.JaqDutch.com.

This first EBA PSA features Ryan Boccardi, one of the members of the EBA BMX Squad who was more than happy to contribute even with a broken wrist. Though I haven't had the chance to check them out personally I've been hearing good things about this group since I posted a few things by them awhile back courtesy of E Dub.  They'll be dropping a project in 2010 but to hold the fans over until then they will be dropping an EP via 2dopeboyz & Fat Lace next Tuesday.  The EP will contain songs they left off the full length project as well as some classic goodies out the vault.  Check the commerical above though to see what's poppin'...shouts to E Dub on the info.

I told ya'll about this BBQ, a fun time had by all...FCC was in full effect as Meka, myself, El Prez, Chris Focus and of course E Dub were in full effect. Act Live was on the grill, Bo$$co was chillin', Shawn Chrys, Jansport J, Y-O, Basicali, BananaClipse and more stopped by to make it a memorable occasion. With this EPK you get to see a bit of the BBQ as well as get a good idea of what EBA is all about. Whattup E Dub...it's been a minute fam.

Last Saturday I told you about Diz' show at the Derby, and alot of ya'll came out to support. Diz tore the house down as all eyes were on him as he closed out the event. So this is footage from that Pepsi Proper pop up retail store opening party last saturday night...a ton of Local Hip Hop was present. Many FCC members and affiliates were around shaking hands, kissing babies, etc. An overall fun night where neither E Dub nor I had any camera to take footage. Meka held us down with these clips above as he was the lone representation of the FCC as far as documenting the event goes. So with no camera we couldn't film Chris Focus' 6 minute freestyle in a circle of myself, E Dub & Convinced. Then in a flash he and Convinced went off to talk to some honeys. Can't blame them as there were some lookers and an OPEN BAR!!!! If you were doing nothing during this time...u lost!!! Oh yeah...Meka has pics here.

Just in Time for Valentine's...

For the fact that my birthday is the 13th of June...anything including the numbers 1 or 3 usually catch my attention. So the fact that Friday the 13th was getting a redux, you know I looked twice. Now with the producers of the Texas Chain redux behind this...it seems this could potentially be good...especially since the Jason franchise had gotten rather comedic and cheesy (but I'm silently a fan anyways) as of late. So just in time for Valentine's I have an early gift that chicks who look like this can feel free to take me to...YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Spotted this at my boy E Dub's spot.
