Just opening yesterday is the Marina del Rey location of The Counter, Custom Built Burgers. A cool little concept for someone who wants more from their burger. The menu is on a clipboard and you build how u see fit. 1/3 pounder, 2/3 or a whole and pick the bread (or not), the sauces (Sweet BBQ to Spicy Sour Cream), cheeses, toppings and more. There are 312,000 possible combinations. And if you don't want beef there are turkey, veggie and chicken breast options. There are ready made burgers, salads, and other sides.
