JANELLE MONAE x KIA SOUL COLLECTIVE PHOTO RECAP via EAZEE STREET

Here are some pics I took of Janelle Monae during her dope a$$ performance at the Kia Soul Collective a couple weekends ago.  She has non-stop energy, a unique voice and a small but killer band.  And i had to post a lot of photos so you can get a good idea of the scene as well as the different outfits and antics Janelle showed off with.  She sang on a stool, danced, painted a picture and though I didn't catch it...she crowd surfed...more like backstroked through the crowd.  I'll have a small video of her performance ready soon.

KIA SOUL COLLECTIVE w/ JANELLE MONAE

So last Saturday me and Mr. Cypressology hit up the Kia Soul Collective to see the talented Janelle Monae perform for the four day festival that Kia put on at Siren Studios on Orange.  I had heard nothing but great things about her live performance and I was thoroughly impressed when I left.  She is for lack of a better word DOPE.  If you ever have the chance to check her out...please go and do yourself the favor.  Here are some pics JC of Cypressology got in.  I'll have some from my camera next week as well as some video I snuck in.  If you want to see all the pics JC took go here.
