If you want to know why 9th Wonder is gettin a post on a blog that focuses mainly on LA it's 2 good reasons: 1. a family member represents him on the PR tip (and yeah she's from LA) and 2. the video above is part of a series by the big homie LowKey out on the east coast...therefore, why wouldn't I? To get some background on the series I'll let my fam tell it:

My client, Grammy-Award winning producer, 9th Wonder, has teamed up with BET.com to launch their new blog series "Studio Rats", featuring some of today's hottest and upcoming Hip-Hop producers. With collaborations with Hip-Hop and R&B heavyweights such as Jay-Z, Destiny Child, Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Erykah Badu, and Nas as well as upcoming and underground artists like Drake, Murs, Jean Grae, Skyzoo, Tyler Woods, and Bishop Lamont, it's only fitting that 9th be the first producer featured in the blog series.

With his trusty flip-cam, 9th promises to showcase what life is like behind the scenes and behind the boards with cameos from your favorite artists and producers. Unintentionally pure comedy and fun, this outlet allows fans and supporters of good music a glimpse of what life is like for a wondrous and exceptional producer.
