I never mentioned my 7,000th post but I didn't think I'd get to 7050 so quickly either...with that said I'd like to thank everyone who has supported the blog to get to the point it is now. It basically came from nowhere and now is one of the main voices for LA hip hop. In that sense I relate to the emergence of Kendrick Lamar...he's come from under Jay Rock and become a favorite amongst the city as many folks out here relate to his story and angle. He has emerged as his own artist and gained his own notoriety strictly off of HIS music. Kendrick some feel has come from nowhere and taken the world by storm by making fans of 9th Wonder, J. Cole and more. Well his newest fan is Dr. Dre who wants to work with him, that's a good look and with that being made known Kendrick didn't rest. He jumped in the studio and unleashed on this track.
