A few of the highlights from the 3rd Annual Holiday Gala I sponsored a couple weeks ago.  I told ya'll to come check it out.  A bunch of tasteful people, extremely clean attire, music and lots of drinks.  A fun gathering for the holidays all in the name of charity and good intentions.  Next year will be very large...so prepare to be there.  It's always the weekend before Xmas.

REMINDER: OCEAN'S LA HOLIDAY GALA THIS SATURDAY

THIS SATURDAY, the ANNUAL GALA goes down for the 3rd time. A collection of young progressive minded urban professionals in an upscale environment getting their groove on for the greater good of raising money to provide extra curricular programs for underserved inner city youth. These programs help to mentor and prepare the children to be progressive minded adults that will contribute to the wealth and advancement of our communities and overall society. Sounds good to me. NEXT WEEKEND - OCEAN'S LA XMAS GALA

This WILL BE the formal event of the year 2008...it always is.  And it gets bigger and better every year.  So get your suit and your date game up fellas, and ladies get your classy gowns and dresses and complement it with sum fly heels and get your ass on out to this event.  Pre-Sale tix and event details are available here, and you should do that because last year we sold out.  I should have some on me from this weekend until next Saturday...so if you need them, holla fast folks.

Proceeds go to CLIMB Inc to fund various programs to for inner city youth.  These programs include basketball camps, mentorship programs, a performing arts program and more upcoming programs.  CLIMB is a non-profit organization created by Ken Billups III.  My company sponsors this event every year, so support me, Mr. Billups and the youth.  21+

OCEAN'S LA - 3rd ANNUAL HOLIDAY GALA

So I schooled ya'll last week about my boy Ken Billups and all the outreach he does for the community. We above is the flyer for the Annual Fundraiser he does to raise money for all the programs he puts on for the youth and underserved of our community through his CLIMB organization. I also lend a helping hand to this as well. Good people in their good clothes (I'm talking suits) having a good time. It's one of the few times you will catch me in a suit...so come out and raise money for our future, our children...but have a good time doing it: mingling, being fly and getting ya groove on. MAMA I MADE IT (Sort of...) - EAZEE GETS BLOGGED

So today is mom's bday...and ironically her son (one of your favorite "bloggers") gets blogged about today.  I've had homies send me shout outs...but it feels pretty good to actually get a write up (small but cool) about myself, my endeavors and my blog.  I'm not into promotion of myself (personally) on my blog but I thought this was worth mentioning.  My fam Ken Billups launched his blog today and surprised me with his first Community Spotlight being me...so check my writeup  over there NOW!!!  Ken Billups is very active within the local community with various programs that benefit the youth.  It is that passion to help, serve and create change that makes him a valued colleague.  So check out his blog everyday after you leave here (or include him among your blog stops) and see what he has cooking.  Expect a good amount of substance and thought provoking posts that relate to our Los Angeles communities and beyond; as well as some more informal thoughts of a young man residing in LA.  Thanks again Ken.  And be on the lookout for Ocean's LA & their 3rd Annual Holiday Gala(website up soon).  The grand upscale event raises money for Ken's non-profit: CLIMB Inc.  This non-profit creates several programs to assist inner city youth in Los Angeles County.

On that Community Tip...Voter Registration Fraud

While we're on the subject of young people making a difference in the community...I spotted 2 of colleagues of mine being interviewd on KTLA in regards to voter registration, the big campaign, and voter registration fraud? Crazy times...but check out my boys Mario Singleton & Ken Billups (who's event I missed yesterday and I didn't get a chance to post, forgive me Mr. Billups). I owe you a Local Spotlight sir. I've been busy but your hard work doesn't go unnoticed here.
