With the start of this new Eazee Street original series it only seemed right to start with Kendrick Lamar who will grace the cover of the XXL as part of the 2011 Freshmen Class.  He's sold out the Key Club, brought out Dr. Dre on stage and has been working on Detox...it's hard to deny the fact that  he's making a good amount of noise.  In this first part we talk about the difference between the EP & OD, what goes into a show and his favorite song from his two favorite artists (2 Pac & DMX).  Check it out and tell a friend....

Almost forgot...but without further adieu, here is the Throwback pick courtesy of Thurzday.  This is before Earl started going on a fail/losing spree in life.  This was one of the dudes to make that raw music acceptable in the mainstream considering Bad Boy was making huge imprints on hip hop...I mean Ma$e was another new artist at the time and he was THE MAN, like it or not.  Shoutouts to Thurzday & YO as they will hit the road with Warren G for a tour throughout the US.  Proud of my fam UNI, keep it up ya'll.

JADAKISS - WHO'S REAL (RUFF RYDERS RMX) MUSIC VIDEO

The original version of this song grew on me and though the remix doesn't really make it a better song it's good to see the Ruff Ryders doing a posse cut again...when they were the big force (and Cash Money) a Ruff Ryder collab meant trouble. Peep it.
