I've been keeping an eye on Out Da Box TV ever since I saw their interview with the homie Miguel.  This time around they chat with Goapele.  Check it out.

DRAKE BRINGS OUT GOAPELE in SF (VIDEO)

Drake being in the Bay Area last night felt it was only right to bring out Goapele, and since he did rap over her classic song Closer on Comeback Season.  He kills this verse to a song from Thank Me Later...which sounds like it samples Goapele's song.  Cuts off before she sings so I'm guessing they did her song too...either way it's dope and you need to peep it.  Drake at Club Nokia tonight...I'm sure most of you know that.

GOAPELE - CLOSER (LIVE AT THE CONGA ROOM in LA)

As you all know, last weekend was full of shows in the LA area and here is footage from one of them. Last Friday Goapele and Slum Village blessed LA over at the Conga Room for what I hear was a good show. Here is Goapele performing one of her if not THE most popular song. It's one of my faves and it never gets old, there is also some bonus footage with Goapele as she talks about the song. Enjoy and props to Quddus.

Goapele @ 2008 UCLA Jam Day

The beauty of YouTube...i can see Goapele's performances at UCLA Jam Day (the quieter version of it's rowdy sister UCLA Reggae Fest)...I would've enjoyed seeing this but I was on my way back from Sin City. Peep her favorite song of mine, i'll post Roots footage later...gotta run!
