Here is the video directed by the homie Quddus for the singer Erin Christine.  The song was written by Tiffany Starr, she also sent the video my way and had this to say:

It premiered last night at the Eldridge NYC for close friends and the
likes of Sway and Krucial Keys. Quddus took to the mic and expressed
his inspiration from the song SAY, "I wanted the video to be just as
raw as the song. Bring you right into a relationship and the moments
that end up defining it." He directed singer and pianist Erin
Christine's debut video with an eye that captured emotion vividly.
This video is about wanting the chance to SAY something before it's
too late.

DRAKE - LIVE IN LA (VIDEO)

The homie Quddus sent this footage over that he's been sitting on of Drake.  His description is below:

It was the last night of his headlining tour in the spring before the knee injury that sidelined him. The date was May 23rd and the place was the Luckman Fine Arts Complex in LA.

SHAWN CHRYSTOPHER TEAMS W/ QUDDUS for NEXT MUSIC VIDEOS

For his singles on A City With No Seasons, Shawn Chrys will be teaming up with Quddus to do the visuals.  What two singles you may ask, Heartbreaker f. Chris Focus & Believer.  Dope stuff if you ask me.  I'm hoping to get the behind the scenes footage so be on the lookout for that soon.  Press release below:

During a star-studded Complex Magazine event, held at Los Angeles' upscale venue MyHouse, Quddus Philippe hit the red carpet to not only introduce the world to recording artist Shawn Chrystopher, but to announce his plans to make his directorial debut of a two part mini-movie of Mr. Chrystopher's compositions "Heartbreaker" and "Believer."

 "Heartbreaker" was world premiered by Los Angeles' own Power 106 FM during their "New @ 2" segment a few weeks ago, and was also featured on the homepages of internet powerhouses Imeem.com and Myspace.com.  "Heartbreaker is one of those records that everyone can relate to," says Shawn Chrystopher. "No matter who you are, you've gone through heart break. Its a human record because we, as humans, can understand and comprehend the emotion behind a song like this."

Not to be overshadowed, the video for Shawn's next official single "Believer" will continue where "Heartbreaker" leaves off; giving the audience a chance to truly understand the events that took place in Chrystopher's life to aid the orchestrations. "I'm excited and honored for this opportunity," Shawn states. "Quddus and I are friends before anything but to go into these two videos with someone who's experienced in this industry like he is and who shares the same vision as I do artistically is truly a blessing. The world will be amazed."

SHAWN CHRYSTOPHER - QUDDUS TESTIMONIAL & HEARTBREAKER (LIVE)

GOAPELE - CLOSER (LIVE AT THE CONGA ROOM in LA)

As you all know, last weekend was full of shows in the LA area and here is footage from one of them. Last Friday Goapele and Slum Village blessed LA over at the Conga Room for what I hear was a good show. Here is Goapele performing one of her if not THE most popular song. It's one of my faves and it never gets old, there is also some bonus footage with Goapele as she talks about the song. Enjoy and props to Quddus.

A GREAT NIGHT AT THE ROXY RECAP

My date flaked on me Saturday (but it was for business so she gets a pass) but it turned out I should have just gone to the show solo. One I could have just met up with Thurz, Y-O and Shawn Chrys and checked out Krystle, Mateo and of course my boy Miguel. On top of that, there was an abundance of women there, single women of a high ratio. Moral of the story fellas...go to R&B shows and show you know something besides a Gucci Mane 16 and hook, lol. Here is MySpace Music, Shawn Chrystopher friend, Los Angeles artist and a man making a name in his own right.  Quddus sent this over but I didn't get a chance to post it yesterday.  This is Underneath The Sky, Mixtape: Chapter 2.  The concept is dope if you didn't already know, Mateo takes the mixtape songs and molds a story that in turn become part of a short film.  This mixtape features Teairra Marie, Kardinal Ofishall and Outasight.  Check out the short film here.
