NAS - NASTY (MUSIC VIDEO)

Nas - "Nasty" Music Video (NasirJones.com) from Nasir Jones on Vimeo.

I keep this song in rotation...that vintage Nas feel.  Has a bit of the Hate Me Now nostalgia (instead of Diddy we get Ciroc bottles to cameo) mixed with son old New York style visuals.  Enjoy.

It's Nas, it's a rainy Monday in Los Angeles, the internets are a bit slow on the western front...so why not?

Here’s a very candid video I shot of Nas outside of Club Play on South Beach where he was hosting last night. We had a little conversation with Nas discussing his daughter, his take on hip-hop’s future and also, when exactly he’ll stop performing and doing what he does. – The305

NAS on CNN, on VERY SERIOUS NOTE

I can't even begin to post the actual video of the senseless violence caught on tape, all I can say is thoughts go out to the family of Derrion Albert. I know last week Nas made an open letter to the killers of the young boy and here he touches on that, violence in music and it's relation to violence in society. Please watch.

I'm all for it...so we give you: Street Dreams by Nas (one of my favorites) and Paparazzi by Xzibit (is that a Nautica jacket?). If you want to know why then hit up Thurzday on Twitter...he's currently in the studio as they master A Love Supreme, which drops March 31st (next tuesday).

FOCUS'D FRIDAYS - IF I RULED THE WORLD

So sorry to disappoint ya'll but Chris Focus has NO new tracks for you today...BUT he will have more than 2 new tracks for you yesterday, details on that will be revealed next week.  But because it's still FOCUS'D Fridays on Eazee Street he did make a video pick for today.  Because it's the 1st Friday of Black History Month, Chris Focus wanted to post If I Ruled the World f. Lauryn Hill by Nas.  Chris said 1.) Nas is one of his favorite emcees 2.) it's our 1st Black History Month with a Black President and with that in mind we should expect ourselves to achieve anything...therefore we can rule the world.  Good enough in my book...have a great weekend.  You know where to find me...on Eazee Street, ONE!!!
