COTN'S ADVENTURES at GLOBAL COOLIN' - #TRIBEGOESWEST

The homies from COTN came through to Global Coolin' and not only rocked but stayed to support the entire show.  Check out their recap as well as a brief cameo by me (I hate being in front of the camera, and I was tired).  COTN has show footage, freestyle coverage and more.

I put you up on COTN awhile back and at the moment they are very much out here in the Los Angeles area.  Here is some video footage of the group getting it in with the West Covina homies we all know as Hawdwerk and Jansport J.  The footage shows us the show they all had in Riverside.  Enjoy.

EAZEE STREET OUT OF TOWNERS (PREQUEL) - CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT

RUMPUS, Children of the Night from Jon Wasserman on Vimeo.

So next year I will have a new feature going called Out of Towners (shouts to Skeme) which will feature music acts outside of Los Angeles.  I've done this slightly with J. Cole & Drake but now that they are on the verge of stardom or even superstardom i'm going to need more than those two as outside names.  As a warmup check out Children of the Night who hail from NY, Queens specifically.  Their bio is below:

"Children of The Night" (BKA "COTN", our acronym, pronounced "cotton") is a trio of Emcees situated within the borough of Queens. Individually, we are Remy Banks, Lansky, and Versa. Representing one of the only groups out of the borough in this day and age on the scene, it's our goal to not only reinvigorate the Queens scene but bring something new to thetable; while still keeping our old school upbringings very intact, as you may note in our sound. We've been together (as a trio) since the end of 2007, released a first mixtape in November of 2008 titled "100%"and have made some major headway, including being the opening act at Brooklyn Bodega's 2009 Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, performing alongside legends such as Pharaohe Monch, Brand Nubian, Smiff N Wessun, Styles P and Dead Prez, and even more recently performing at the popular Highline Ballroom and Knitting Factory, alongside Bad Rabbits and Prophit.

Here is a link to our new video. It's for
the intro song off of our sophomore mixtape, "Where The Wild Things Are"
