So that talented Mr. Tomas Whitmore...you know the guy who directed videos like this, this and most recently that; is up to some newness with some friends of mine that aren't UNI. They just shot a video for "Turn the Lights Down...". Between the genius of Tomas and J*Davey I'm sure I will love the video. I already like the song...as I've seen it several times live. So stay tuned and I will let you know when this drops. Spotted these stills over at Miss Jack Davey's blog. Peep it, it will possibly better your life!!!

Thurz & Y-O Compete to be Crowned Best Breakout L.A. Artist

Los Angeles, CA --- MTV2 and Time Warner Cable present Road to the Video Music Awards tonight at 8pm on MTV's new FNMTV hosted by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz. With a chance to have their July 23rd performance at The Roxy Theatre broadcasts at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, U-N-I threw down against fellow new artists The Ruse and End Roulette to be named Best Breakout L.A. Artist. Along with bragging rights, the winner also gets to perform at the famed VMA Afterparty. All are invited to vote here online for their favorite artists.

UNI X Going/PUSH @ The Roxy

Some exclusive footage of UNI back at the ROXY on Saturday night for the Going.com/PUSH event. I felt like part of the U-N-I entourage last week, but those are my dudes so it's all good. They put on an energetic show, won over a few new fans, had a few groupies follow Y-O around, and even shouted out the blog, "Eazee Street in the house", before performing "Supreme" (the first post I made). Here are a few pics of the duo: in front of the Roxy, backstage, on stage, and out front again with another West Coast emcee FOCuz. U'll hear from that guy soon as he will be the 1st official resident artist on Eazee Street. I'll have more photos up on the myspace page or UNI's in the next 24 hours.
