DAVID CHOE & MISTER CARTOON ART for MACHETE
SA Studios selected world-renowned artist David Choe to contribute an original piece to the promotion for the upcoming film, Machete (releasing this Friday, September 3rd). Choe’s unique spin on the film’s poster features his infamous art bubbles that has a life of its own. Inspired by the iconic face of Machete star, Danny Trejo, Choe’s contribution is a stunning blend of the artist’s unmistakable personal style that we all know and love.
In addition, infamous tattoo artist/muralist Mister Cartoon also contributed brilliant Machete-inspired artwork in tribute to their longtime friend, Danny Trejo.

DANNY TREJO & MR. CARTOON...LOWRIDING (VIDEO)
SA Studios was commissioned by Twentieth Century Fox to produce videos promoting the film “Machete” starring Danny Trejo. The first lifestyle video features Mister Cartoon and Danny Trejo lowriding through East LA. This video, directed by Estevan Oriol, begins the series.

Art: SA Studios x "A Righteous Kill" Exhibition
SA Studios is having an exhibition in celebration of the release of Righteous Kill, starring Hollywood Legends Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Two legends in their own right Estevan Oriel & Mister Cartoon brought their talents together to create the film poster. The exhibition features poster art and other movie memorabilia with the celebrated actors.
