KENDRICK LAMAR x J. COLE: TOP SECRET PROJECT (VIDEO)

Kendrick and J. Cole working together...FINALLY, or say word.  I know the two artists are fans of each other and big up the other so to see this is dope.  I was at the J. Cole show a couple weeks back watching it with Kendrick Lamar, Dave Free, H.O.P.E. and Julien.  It's dope seeing artists support each other as fans and peers.  I can't wait to hear what they cooked up.

The homie 'Drew from Tradition just brought this to my attention, pretty interesting so wanted to share.  These dudes have been making some noise.  A small update about GBC below:

Opening Ceremony" follows "Dancin' On Ya Grave" as the first tracks from a forthcoming 2011 release.  A remix for "Dancin' On Ya Grave" featuring Xzibit, Paul Wall, and Murs was leaked in October.
The video and MP3s for both "Opening Ceremony" and "Dancin' On Ya Grave (remix)" are available for purchase along with a limited edition True Love & False Idols shirt from http://GetBusyCommittee.com.
Get Busy Committee made history in 2009 releasing their debut, Uzi Does It, on an uzi-shaped 2GB flash drive.  They also sold a platinum edition of their first picture disc 12" and recorded a song for one lucky purchaser, via Kickstarter (the vinyl for the platinum edition is now being finalized and produced and will start shipping in January).  They debuted their DJ Cheapshot video wall live show during a now-legendary live run at SXSW in March followed by MySpace Music-sponsored events in Los Angeles.

Met this dude here a couple weeks ago via DJ Sean G, DJ Wreckineyez who is Asher Roth's DJ.  He's in the semi-finals of the Complex x McDonald's DJ Battle.  So I need all of you to head over to Complex right now and vote him into the finals.  The dude is sick on the tables and cool guy.  Words from Wreckineyez:

My fam Miguel took timeout from the OMG tour to get his hometown promotion on...he's been on a whirlwhind of release parties, interviews, and his own release party/performance.  But just before that performance, Miguel tore down Jimmy Kimmel.  A good look for him, very proud of him.  I can't help but laugh a little bit at the performance after some inside info he told me last night.  I see you Mig, lol...oh and don't forget to pick up the debut album "All I Want Is You" which sold out at a few Best Buy's in California.
