During Atlanta's recent A3C Hip Hop Festival, Grooveshark teamed up

with the legendary Stankonia Studios and the Royal Flush/SMKA

production team to create an exclusive mixtape. The mixtape features

original songs from artists playing the festival as well as some

hometown heroes, and will be available November 16 to stream for free

exclusively on Grooveshark. The tracks will be accompanied by several

behind the scenes videos featuring the artists and production teams

creating the songs from start to finish. Artists who participated in

the project include 9th Wonder, Killer Mike, Ying Yang Twins, Freeway,

Aleon Craft, Fashawn, Thurz, Rapsody, and many more.

In addition, exclusive BTS videos will be released from Stankonia

Sessions.  There was a video production crew filming all 3 days

capturing behind the scenes footage of the recording process.

ROCKY RIVERA on M.I.S.S. TV: ROCKY RETURNS...BACK TO N.Y. (VIDEO)

I met the talented Rocky Rivera on El Prez' bday and I keep hearing great things about her, I've been behind on my research time.  Well this video showed up in my inbox so I said it's only right, check her out:

M.I.S.S.’s very own fem-cee one-woman wonder Rocky Rivera returned to New York to play her first gig in the city late this summer. The city that never sleeps definitely wasn’t sleeping on the award-winning journalist turned MC that night, because even despite an epic late evening thunderstorm, the house was backed with fans both male and female that rhymed along to each and every word Rocky was spitting.

In New York to celebrate the release of her mixtape Hearts & Minds (produced with DJ Roza), Rocky’s appearance at Hudson Terrace was a triumphant return for the MC who hadn’t been to New York since her MTV days. With a set consisting of crowd favorite MRSHMLO and a duet with Mala Reignz, Rocky was definitely… in the eye of the TIGER! RAWR! (ok, just one bad joke allowed, right? right?).
