HOPE WRIGHT - FEAR & GUILT (MUSIC DOWNLOAD)

Hope on the rap, Jansport J on the beat...but peep the description below before you download.

My bad I left some swag at home when I did this.
My bad I didn't name drop nor did I brand drop on this. I apologize for not lying, and for not embellishing and fluffing my verses on this joint. I'm sorry. Forgive me for being completely open and honest on topics I hold very close to me and for taking off my day-to-day filter.
I'll do all those things on my next song. - Hope Wright

LA HIP HOP INVADES SF - THIS WEEKEND

So as part of the resurrection of the Lyricist Lounge...L.A. Hip Hop has been asked to show face in San Francisco featuring acts such as UNI, Pac Div, TiRon, Ayomari & HOPE.  If you can head up north...might as well send the city...and check em out.  And if you have people in the Bay area...tell them to hit the show up as well.  Good music all the way around.

H.O.P.E. was just finishing up this performance when I arrived at the Spliff earlier this month.  He had sent me the video which I posted here and the mp3 which was posted there, so it is a performance i wanted to see.  Thanks to my dude Drew over MyCypher.com, I can view the part of the show I missed.  Cruise over to Drew's spot and see some other performances that went down.

H.O.P.E. - Love, Lotus (Promo) from Abigail Golden on Vimeo.

H.O.P.E. [x] Jean Charles de Castelbajac from Abigail Golden on Vimeo.

I saw the top video come up on twitter last night as I was falling asleep, so I didn't peep it until this morning.  I thought it was a cool approach to things and everyone knows: Vimeo > YouTube.  So I was already down to watch.  I slacked on giving HOPE my email so he plugged these on my myspace page.  Dope visuals, and ya'll know I'm a sucka for artistic ish.  There is audio for the Love, Lotus track below via Meka.

Julien sent this to me last week as well...didn't get to hear until after the FCC show, but I'll tell you this, it's been in rotation.  H.O.P.E. has been featured on a couple UNI songs as well as rocked the stage with them at the Key Club.  We've hung out and talked important things like G Unit and Kobe, lol so I'm familiar with dude...if u're not you should get familiar.  Here's his track H-O-P-E produced by Inglewood rapper 3-1-0.

UNI f. HOPE & Shawn Jackson - CALI SOUL

UNI of course had to get in on the action for the New Years Day west coast onslaught of music today...so you know I got it.  I would've posted earlier, but between NYE recovery and blogger being a BITCH, it goes up now.  Frickin' Shake & Meka already beat me to it, but that's FCC fam so it's all good.  Not sure if the track is California Soul or Cali Soul, it's getting around as a few names in the web world.  I know this though...1.) I dropped a track called California Soul on this site by an artist you all know by keeping it locked here, so I'm calling this one Cali Soul and 2.) this track features HOPE and Shawn Jackson (FCC stamped, u'll know why soon), is produced by Dibiase and will be on the upcoming mixtape: Before There Was Love with Mick Boogie.  Basically this mixtape will preclude the release of A Love Supreme.  The track here is very fly and showcases some great west coast talent.  I think 2009 will see alot of collaboration songs and projects from many of our west coast artists.  And that's a good thing.
