So about a week and a half ago I went out to Hunington Beach to check out some of the homies and their brands at Agenda.  Got to see new stuff from Creative Rec, Diamond Supply Co., IM King, Adidas, Puma, Nooka, Crooks & Castles, Acrylick and more.  So while I'm out in Las Vegas checking out MAGIC, SLATE, Project and Pool I'll let you marinate with this.  When I get back from Las Vegas I'll have pics and more from that trip.  I'll drop some photos from Agenda tomorrow.  Enjoy.

ORISUE - FALL 2010 DELIVERY 1 LOOK BOOK

My good folks at Orisue drop the new look book on us and it has some familiar faces you may have seen around town.  On top of that the homie Daylan had a hand in this so I had to post it for all those reasons. Some very interesting and provocative stills.  As always the look book shows an adventurous storyline and cool clothes.  I'm sure if I get over to AGENDA in the next 24 hours I'll get see some of this up close.  As a bonus here is the behind the scenes video.

A lot of the brands you see featured on this site will all be under one roof on Wednesday and Thursday in Hunington Beach.  I'm talking IM King, Diamond Supply Co., Crooks & Castles, Nooka, UNDRCRWN and even more.  I'll be grabbing as much footage as I can.

CROOKS & CASTLES 2010 SUMMER FOOTWEAR COLLECTION: DECKLO

I was able to preview some of Crooks & Castles' footwear when I went to the Agenda tradeshow and they had some pretty good shoes dropping.  Very simple yet stylish which will complement their gear which is usually very intricate and detailed.  The color choices are on point and help bring out the boat deck and ocean themes.  The shoes are canvas and leather, be on the lookout for them.

The lighting in the spot was a bit off so I decided to just snap some flicks of the performance.  Shawn Chrys got the crowd pumped as he opened with his Dub Frequency presented track "Me" and then took that energy into his single from "A City With No Seasons"as he brought Chris Focus out for Heartbreaker.  Once again there were ladies and gents in the front rapping along word for word.  Shawn then ended the set with his unreleased track "Kid Again".  His energy was in overdrive and the crowd loved it though none of them had any idea what the words were...but by the end they all know to chime in with "kid again".  The OC along with many folks that were at the Agenda Tradeshow loved it and gave plenty compliments to both Shawn and Chris once the set ended.

AGENDA TRADESHOW JANUARY 2010: PHOTO RECAP

So this past Saturday Chris Focus and I strolled (or journeyed) out to the OC for the Agenda Tradeshow to support and see what some of my fashion friends had in the works.  I got there later than I expected so I didn't really get to make nice with some new brands that I have't exposed here already though.  I did catch up with Acrylick, IM-King, Undrcrwn, Creative Recreation, Flud Watches and Crooks & Castles.  I heard some exciting things from Crooks & Castles but when the time is right they'll expose such knowledge...for now let's just say they're really expanding the brand in some cool directions.  It was a fun time and I met up with El Prez, DJ Printz Paul, Drew & Jason of Tradition, Reese 1 (of Bleu Collar) and my boy Max from Wine & Bowties.  As you can see Undrcrwn has some LA themed pieces that you all need to get up on and get ready for.  The Look Away tee also comes in Raiders colors, but I erased the pic by accident.  IM-King was turning heads with the outerwear and cut & sew pieces they have.  Acrylick had some fitteds, jackets, and summer shorts that everyone will be able to get down with.  Creative Recreation has a wide array of shoes dropping that fit the sneaker fix as well as more formal (yet casual) shoes.  Flud's pieces with the interchangeable bands are nice so make sure to check them out as well.  All in all it was a great time, even though I was there very briefly.  I'll have an team in tow for the next one.

EL PREZ GOT SHOWS: LITTLE TEMPLE, AGENDA AFTERPARTY & CHESS MOVES RELEASE PARTY/SHOW

Like I said the on Twitter, today is a good day for LA Hip Hop...and it continues this week. Tonight El Prez, Shawn Chrystopher and Those Chosen will be shutting down Little Temple, and the event will be hosted by DNEZ. Tomorrow El Prez will be rocking out in the OC at the Agenda Tradeshow afterparty with Dre Biggity...should be dope. Then Friday night Prez will take a break and simply host the Chess Moves mixtape release event. The event will feature live performances by Skeme, Cire, Picaso (and I hear Thr33zy McFly as well). Make sure to check that out. It's enough hip hop for you to see over the next few days. I better see you all at all of it. Plus El Prez will debut some new heaters that you want to see. Case in point, Summit At the Sands f. Shawn Chrys, DNEZ & Chris Focus (makes bitter bear face).
