ECHO "LIVE" at THE TRIP (VIDEO)

ECHO has moved out to L.A. from NY and really taking a liking to our scene and has been spotted at many FCC events and I first met him via Convinced.  In the last two weeks he's filmed a video, rocked a show and booked a month of shows for July.  He's moving so it's only right to let you get a peek as to what he's cooking.  Peep the footage of the show he rocked.

THE-DREAM: TRILOGY (YAMAHA x NIKKI pt. 2 x ABYSS) by THE MOTION FAMILY

I like a lot of the work that the Motion Family does so when I saw they were doing some visuals for The-Dream and then saw a vimeo link floating around the internets I figured it would be cool to post...so here we are.  A bit more suitable for work compared to the "trailer" I dropped yesterday.  Enjoy.

MYKESTRO f. THE HORSESHOE GANG - MYCRAFONE MURDAH (MUSIC DOWNLOAD)

Mykestro makes a quick offering from a new project entitled The Bar-Mittzpha with a leak for the song with The Horseshoe Gang (you may know them as kin to Crooked I).  Well it's safe to say A LOT of lyrics will be showcased here.  The project will be dropping this weekend I believe on the Skillz Still Appeal bandcamp.  Also you can catch Mykestro at the Regal Tenant x El Mercado jumpoff on Saturday.  It's going to be dope so be there...for now though, download this track.  Oh yeah it's produced by Battlecat.

Their single with Miguel in visual form has finally made it's way onto MTV (long overdue in my opinion) so I'm going to repost this video in the MTV player format as if we've never seen this before.  Also their track Desha Dayana is officially on iTunes.  Peep it out.

Tradition drops a nice Laker Championship themed t-shirt on the masses.  This one plays off the Nike Puppet tees and the popular "west coast anthem" from Ice Cube's Westside Connection.  The result the puppet hand throwing up the "W", you know "four fingers up, two twisted in the middle"...complete with a ring for each finger symbolizing Kobe's 5 rings.  Hit Tradition up for yours today.

CASH MONEY in LOS ANGELES (VIDEO)

Cash Money and Young Money invade Los Angeles and some surrounding cities like San Diego and Santa Barbara during Drake's tour stops.  You'll see some backstage action, some performances, Nicki Minaj, oh and girls passing out and Baby Birdman Stunna, etc chilling on private jets while the YM camp gets around presumably on a bus.  I had to laugh at that for some reason...footage from Derick G.

LEIMERT PARK ARTWALK (PHOTO RECAP)

So I hit up the 1st Leimert Park Artwalk this past Sunday and had a pretty enjoyable afternoon.  Got to see some folks of the art world I hadn't seen in ages, peeped some "hipster chicks" and got a good feeling of culture from my neighborhood.  I also made sure to go out there to check out a hip hop show at KAOS as well.  I was able to catch Curtiss King live for the first time and I was very pleased with what I saw.  The dude produced his own tracks, beasted them as an emcee and might have even been his own hype man (and technically DJ).  I also got to see Lite perform who I hadn't seen onstage in maybe a year.  It was good to see him do his thing as well.  Check out a good amount of pics...including Cire's tattoo in memory of Dolla.  I'll probably put all the other pics I took on my Facebook or something...I'll put a link up when I do.  Shout out to Chris Focus for rolling with me to the Artwalk as well.

WESTERN AWARENESS CONFERENCE at THE L.A. CONVENTION CENTER (PHOTO RECAP)

Speaking of salvaged pictures I managed to save these somewhat...a few choice photos from this past Saturday at the Convention Center for the Western Awareness Conference.  It was a dope affair and some good knowledge for aspiring producers and artists, even label owners.  I'll try to get some video up sooner than later...and my homie Cypressology will have some more pics coming as well.  Shouts to Street Goddess for having me out.  If you hear of another one coming up be sure to be there...TRUST ME.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS PARADE 2010 via EAZEE STREET

So I attended the parade...not as cool as last year but I did manage to get some better pics...now enter the bad news:  in transferring the pics they became corrupted and many of the photos were cut off.  So I attempted to salvage the good ones at least to the point where you could get an idea of what went down. A good lively crowd and folks were climbing whatever they could to get a better look.  Enjoy...I'll try to get the hi-res version uploaded to Facebook or something soon.  In the meantime just click on the pics to get a bit of a closer look.
