NIKE SB P-ROD COMMERCIAL 3 (EXTENDED VERSION) feat. KOBE BRYANT & ERICK KOSTON

P. Rod has commercials going and here is an extended version of it. Filmed on the streets of Los Angeles (you may recognize some of the places) as well as my alma mater of LMU, where he passes by Kobe Bryant. KOBE BRYANT x YOUTH CAMP x TRADITION x EAZEE STREET

So once again Kobe has his camp going on up at LMU, so I slid through to check it out. Usually the first night involves a scrimmage game but this time it involved a dunk contest. I saw some familiar faces...one of those being my boy Jason from Tradition. He snapped these pics so I figured I show you what we got to watch. Keion was the winner, a local high schooler at a whopping 6'2 but he made many of his best dunks look the easiest. Through the legs, tomahawks from distance, jumped over a player etc...to win all he had to do was pull off a simple dunk. NAH, he went for the gusto, stood the eliminated contestants in front of the basket and attempted to jump over them. His first attempt he acted as if he stumbled...ran into the bleachers behind the basket and pulled out a Batman cape. The judge cued the Batman theme music and Keion proceeded to try it again with the crowd amped...well he completed it...and smoothly. The crowd went into a frenzy and Kobe, Josh Powell, Ice Cube, Mike Taylor (Clippers) & DeAndre Jordan (Clippers) all gave 10's. I'm still trying to figure out WHEN the scrimmage game is.

FOCUS'D FRIDAYS & MORE!!!!

So if you noticed the Focus'd Fridays has slowed down a little bit...well part of that is because he's been saving some new stuff for this weekend.  So instead of dropping it to the nets...he'll be dropping new tracks LIVE this weekend.  2NITE at the SPLIFF and 2MORROW NIGHT at LMU.  Be at the Spliff by 10:30PM and LMU by 8 (because I'm not sure who goes on at what time and you'll want to see all the acts tomorrow).

ANOTHER SHOW REMINDER - THIS WEEKEND (CHRIS FOCUS)

Speaking of shows this week...Chris Focus has two this weekend.  Friday at the Spliff and Saturday at LMU.  He told me he's working on 2 different sets for each night so make sure to come to both and enjoy.  I believe they're both FREE.  So support L.A. Hip Hop.  There will be some other acts you've become familiar with at both events.

NEXT WEEK - A CHRIS FOCUS WEEKEND

So next week resident artist Chris Focus will be burning up the Spliff on Friday night then will tear down LMU for his "Homecoming" ceremony. Rumor has it that he will perform two different sets for these back to back shows, so the idea is that you come to both of them. He will perform a couple internet favs as well as debut some brand new material. The LMU show will also feature other acts you've seen here like the Language Artz Crew, the homie TiRon, and the other homie H.O.P.E. LA STAND UP!!!

Chris Focus x J. Cole x Shawn Chrystopher x UNI @ LMU

Besides UNI & Swivyll and that light skinned guy in the top pic with the black cap, everyone pictured in this post did their thing in the cypher section of the show. I have video of Chris Focus, J. Cole & Shawn Chrystopher gettin' their bars off...my camera was acting up when STIX was up...but I can say this, WATTS CITY was repped well by my man STIX.
