That's right, part of the FCC fam EL PREZ was this HIP HOP OFFICIAL's ARTIST OF THE WEEK. Congrats to Prez, his hard work and all around cool persona have gotten some limelight shed on him and he's not stopping. He'll be sending me the Perfect Strangers EP with Dale Danja any second now, and as you know he'll be rocking that FCC show tomorrow night (a couple posts down). El Prez will also be shooting that Mass Appeal 09 Remix video tomorrow with Convinced & Tunji. See gets Artist of the Week and he's still workin, HARD. Keep it up Prez!!!

You should already know what time it is if you've been paying attention the last month or so. Whatchu' say Prez?Check it out y'all, It's almost time for the show to start, so this is the last addition to this TGIF weekly series. Don't worry tho because...The Daily Show EP is droppin Friday, September 5th! It's online only and will be available @ www.whateyethought.com. So write down the date and stay tuned cause you're in for one helluva ride! Brought to you commercial FREE by Eighty's Baby Apparel... Lets get straight to the point: This project wasn't just meant to discuss the problems in the current state of hip hop music, it was also meant to offer solutions to these problems. So this is the Prez's 3 point plan to bring us back to the prominent place in music we once deserved to be in, Because...
"It's time to Rap the Vote, Choose it or Lose it/are you in love with the man or in love with the music?/are you in love with this song cause of the words I'm using?/or because I got a well known dude to produce it?/are you in love with the fame or in love with the movement?/cause a ton of myspace hits ain't meaning you moving/you like the dude on the trophy, while my track record's proven/with Def Jams that's longer than the beard on Rick Rubin/"
"...It's election time baby!" -El Prez
The latest installment of El Prez' TGIF series leading up to the release of the online project: The Daily Show. This track is called RADIO featuring the Cheapskates and is produced by Dale Danja. Read below for the breakdown.
An exclusive shot from the El Prez x DNEZ show this past wednesday at Little Temple. I'll have more pics later. But this isn't about that...this is about El Prez' newest drop for TGIF. Below is a bit of his breakdown. Enjoy.
Tonight you need to come experience some unadulterated Inglewood Hip Hop courtesy of El Prez and DNEZ. They'll be tearing it down at Little Temple in Silverlake so do yaself a favor and get there. As an ode to the "Street", I'm assuming they'll be performing that banger I debuted to the Internets by the name of "It Iz What It Iz". And don't trip, thats the homegirl Shell from the great girls of Bella Beat. Stare at her too long and I will send the wolves out...
Prez shot me and a few others this lil goodie today, from the forthcoming "The Daily Show". I've been slacking since my quick start today...but before I get ready to hang with the Inglewood Duo (who ironically introduced me to Prez) I'm posting up my man's sh!t. Enjoy...and peep Prez's words below...peace.As some might have noticed, Ive been droppin a new track every friday the last couple of weeks and basically I'ma continue to do so until the release of the long awaited *drumroll please* project Im dropping exclusively online, "The Daily Show", at the end of August or the first friday of September. I dropped the first track, "The Greatest", over @ www.whateyethought.com with the homie E Dubb and I dropped the second track, "It is what it is" ft DNEZ, last week on www.Eazeest.com with Young Eazee...and now its your turn lol... The Newest addition to the TGIF series is called "Supern*gga" ft Dale Danja (prod by Dale Danja). Its a creative and humorous take on the inner-city 'superheroes' we mightve looked up to when we were growing up. While The Dark Knight is the shit, and Superman can leapfrog buildings off GP (lol), they dont have anything on *dun-duh-duh-dun*...."SUPERN*GGAAAA!" To find out why, just listen to the track! Expect another installment in 7 days...cause you might not have a job, or shit to do, and why? cause its TGIF!!
