Game 2 of this series isn't until tomorrow night but with all the intense basketball in this one game, and with all the star power the two biggest (and loudest) plays were from a bench player.  Well one of the plays did involve one of the big stars...Taj Gibson who went to high school out here and then went on to rep for USC definitely BANGED on D. Wade, and his tip in wasn't too shabby either.  For your amusement at work...watch this over and over...HD as well.

Going down at USC's usual spot for hip hop, a bunch of local talent you'd recognize if you hang out on Eazee Street will be in attendance to rock the stage.  So if you're looking for someplace to check out some hip hop and celebrate going green...this is where you want to be.

If you can get a hand on these...you're probably one of the coolest people on your block.  Some USC students might have access to them so if you know a few, you might want to hit them up and see what they can do.  If any of my readers are USC students get me a pair and I'll find something(s) to lace you with.

THE HUNDREDS ADAM BOMB OUTLINE FITTEDS (LA EXCLUSIVE)

If anything fashion wise is going to be made exclusive to LA then it's my right to report on it.  You can see the collegiate influence obviously to these caps.  And since The Hundreds is so big in Los Angeles it's only right.  IF you don't realize the reasons for the colorways here then you should move out of LA quickly, but if you know what they represent let's just say the students there get 25% off the caps with valid ID.  Finally USC & UCLA won something.

MARK SANCHEZ A NY JET

For all you USC fans, our quarterback jumped to the NFL not to the liking of coach Pete Carroll...but Sanchez ended up being drafted 5th and will be a NY Jet.  It was the big sports talk this weekend and anytime a Trojan makes it to the league you gotta be excited.

NIKE x EDDIE CRUZ - USC & LA DODGER DUNK HI

Fish skin on the sides, nylon tongues and some other interesting details.  There isn't much info on them except that they are inspired by some Los Angeles sports teams and that Eddie Cruz from UNDFTD has the first look at them for some reason, stay tuned...

Speaking of material I've been sitting on, here are highlights (finally) from that show at USC, from about 2 weeks ago. I plugged it here and it was good one. I showed you a clip of Chris Focus freestyling to start the show...above are clips from his performance as well as Melo KAN's. There is also a cameo from El Prez. Enjoy. I was reminded that I had that as I sit and wait for new material to be dropped off from Chris Focus. He told me he has some choice thoughts in regards to THE BIG DAY TODAY!!!!

This is a small taste of the show that Chris Focus tore down over at USC's Ground Zer0 last Friday night. In this small segment Chris gets it in over Mickey Factz' Incredible beat to get the crowd hype for the rest of the performance. Chris Focus x Melo KAN

So I know I told you that our resident artist: CHRIS FOCUS would be dropping something off to the streets at least once a week since the last time we heard from him with his street single, but he's been quiet. So I asked him what's been up...he responds with this above. Basically he's been finalizing the business for this show above. There is a roster of artists on the bill from what I hear...but he figured I'd find great interest in the fact that he and a good friend of the blog, Melo KAN were on that roster. FREE SHOW, USC, 7-9:45 so we can still party afterwards. So be there. And Focus told me he has some other goodies for me to post up b4 the show...STAY TUNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And for the record...this is not the name of the show...this is what Chris Focus & Melo KAN have dubbed it because of their participation in it...I'm stoked. If you ever get to hear the song they did together recently...u'd be excited too.
