TREK LIFE on ESPN NBA FINALS COVERAGE

The homie Trek Life just got his song "So Supreme" placed on ESPN.  They used it during the NBA Finals coverage for Game 1.  Watch the YouTube clip...it's dope we won that game and they used a local artist as the background music.  Congrats to Trek Life.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS UPDATES : 1 DOWN, 3 TO GO...

Like I figured, the Lakers would have to win Game 1 to get a good start to the series.  Also the Lakers were going to have to show the Celtics they are not the same team from 2008 so they had to make a statement.  They did just that by outworking them in every aspect of the game...second chance points, rebounding, points in the paint, etc.  This is just Game 1 though and they will definitely have to work against the Celtics to win the Finals.  Let's keep the focus and win Game 2.

Obviously the gold is the theme for Kobe in the Finals...the embossed graphics of Kobe's stats though are the dope feature.  I dig these but if I had a pair they'd stay in a glass display.  Look for these tonight...or at some point in this series.

So the word from several inside sources has informed me that most likely L.O. will be signing back to the Lakers in the next 24-48 hours. I'm stoked if that's true. I know that he met with Jerry Buss on Tuesday morning (without his agent is the story given to me). Oh and the pic right above...that's just to show you how Kobe's been sonnin' Dwight since he came in the league. Lakers/Celtics in the Finals this year...Lakers in 7.

Wanted to rub that in the face of the haters since I have yet to upload the pics I took at the parade. Oh and to remind everyone that that tee Kobe has on is SOLD OUT yet again. Even though the season is over...I'm talking about the LAKERS all summer long until the pre-season hits.

While most were down at LA Live to see Keyshia, Keri, The-Dream and them, right next door the Lakers were having a private party where Weezy & Yeezy came out to celebrate their achievements...between the two events there was plenty of celebrity fanfare walking between Nokia Theater and Club Nokia...this is where I was trying to be yesterday if you caught any of my Twitter rants yesterday.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS vs ORLANDO MAGIC - GAME 2 RECAP

A good game once it got near the end...I was a lil bored by it and it picked up in the 4th...I missed the overtime however as I was 'kicked out' or 'escorted off the premises' at a local restaurant. Security who think they're law enforcement are funny...especially when you can tell they are 'reformed' convicts. Some people feel like intimidating people makes them tough...til u stand up to em and they look like idiots. But back to my LAKERS...I just need them to squeeze off a win or 2 in Orlando and bring the trophy home. For the record, mr selfish is averaging 8 assists HATERS!!!

LEBRON x LIL DEZ - NIKE MVPuppets COMMERCIAL

So even though LeBron didn't make it to the Finals matchup against Kobe that we all thought would happen...Nike is not letting up with the commercials.  In the newest one Lil Dez follows LeBron around the house who is home alone because his roommate Kobe is out chasing that ring.  The commentary is hilarious and so good I had to give this one it's own post.

NBA FINALS ADS - DWIGHT HOWARD

I'm sorry but as I sat watching Game 1 of the NBA Finals these commercials gave me a chuckle.  It's plain to see that Kobe is back as commerical brand and his career may have come full circle.  Also with that Dwight Howard Vitamin Water ad you can tell they had a back up plan if LeBron didn't make it to the Finals.
