KARMALOOP TV: SOULJA BOY (VIDEO)

He's not from LA, but he's here...lives here, etc.  But I'm posting because this is one of three artists Karmaloop interviewed this week and they're all different.  From Kreayshawn to Soulja and Pusha T (which I'm looking forward to) it's interesting to see the same media company turn out such varying content.  Check this out and enjoy as SB talks Anime, being on the Forbes list and more.

SUPERNATURAL FREESTYLE at RED BULL EMSEE BATTLE LA (VIDEO)

Supernatural does what he's known for at the Red Bull Emsee Battle LA.  Peep it out.

Last night while attending the Red Bull Emsee Battle: LA, Supernatural got up on stage and did his thing between rounds. This video will always be kind of special to me because Super nat actually grabbed my iphone and freestyled right into it and of course he did even come close to messing up. The night was filled with some dope performances from the likes of Charli 2na, Supernat and Kurupt and the main event was a corny freestyle competition that culminated with an actual battle between bay area stand outs Dirt Bag Dan and Cadillac Ron. Dan went on to win and will get to compete in the finals in Atlanta where Eminem himself will be one of the judges. Red Bull will have more video out soon and I may upload a few other surprises later today. - BMUSE

This week Out Da Box TV is proud to bring you a special interview piece with one of our favorite hip hop producers in music today.  The Grammy award winning producer "9th WONDER" took the time to talk with us about his unique production approach as well as his love for hip hop.  He expounded about his teaching experience at Duke University and further explained how he balances his family life with his music career.  He even spoke on the experience and appreciation he had for his former group “Little Brother” and told us why he decided to Remix Nas’ God’s Son Album.  After pursuing 9th for an interview for quite some time now, this was a win win for Out Da Box TV and all 9th Wonder fans.  We had a wonderful time buildin’ with one of our favorites in the game. - Out Da Box

LAVISH - BITCHES KNEW (INSTRUMENTAL LP)

Yo, Here's my beat tape I been talking about for the longest. The title/artwork is a recreation of Miles Davis album "Bitches Brew". I released this for all the people that never knew I produced, and so rappers can stop rapping over YouTube instrumentals. It's really something to just vibe out to, ride around with. Hope you feeling it. - LaVish

ANDROID HOMME x BIG BOI

Jack Threads will launch a series of “Fash-Up” collaborations tonight for Bonnaroo. One of the joint efforts will be a sneaker from Big Boi and Android Homme. Specifically, both sides collaborated on an exclusive version of their Propulsion Hi-Top, which is influenced by Big Boi’s track “General Patton” off of the Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. The makeup features a plethora of earthly tones such as beige, green, red and black on the upper, while a white sole compliments the entire upper. Lastly, the words, “Big Boi” and “Jack Threads” appear on the insole of each shoe. - Nice Kicks

TYLER the CREATOR f/ FRANK OCEAN - SHE (MUSIC VIDEO)

I've been put on to OddFuture but never posted much because I'm not trying to hop on their bandwagon...However I have had Frank Ocean's project in constant rotation since it landed in my inbox one day.  Now everyone has their own opinion on Tyler but it seems even those with a negative one, speak well of this song from his album Goblin.  Enjoy.

Strong Arm Steady steady working as they drop an unreleased track from Arms & Hammers in celebration of their newest video getting on MTV today.  A little background on the song before you get all riled up...

This song is denouncing the fake tough guy approach to hip-hop that has infected its creativity and progress for so long. Although its better to be caught with than without, half these niguhs aint even got NO gun!! - Krondon
