THROWBACK THURZDAYS | DMX - GET AT ME DOG

Almost forgot...but without further adieu, here is the Throwback pick courtesy of Thurzday.  This is before Earl started going on a fail/losing spree in life.  This was one of the dudes to make that raw music acceptable in the mainstream considering Bad Boy was making huge imprints on hip hop...I mean Ma$e was another new artist at the time and he was THE MAN, like it or not.  Shoutouts to Thurzday & YO as they will hit the road with Warren G for a tour throughout the US.  Proud of my fam UNI, keep it up ya'll.

50 CENT - BBC INTERVIEW & PSYCHO f. EMINEM (NEW MUSIC)

Some tracks from 50's forthcoming album Before I Self Destruct album hit the nets and both of them are really good.  Actually the whole album (supposedly) leaked but I'm keeping that one to myself, sorry.  I decided to put up the one with Eminem because them going back and forth made my day (yesterday and today).  Also go here and see his interview with BBC about the new book.

DJ WHOO KID & COOKING SOUL - NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD pt. 2, 2 PAC EDITION

They dropped one last year at this time featuring Notorious B.I.G. blends...so it's only right they follow up with one for 2 Pac this year.  Check it out, presented by Rocksmith, Flud, ThisIs50 and RadioPlanet.TV

GUCCI MANE - WASTED (RMX) f. LIL WAYNE, JADAKISS & BIRDMAN (NEW MUSIC DOWNLOAD)

Since the new thing in Los Angeles seems to be jumping on this dudes bandwagon I figured some of ya'll would approve of this post.  This is actually one of the few tracks by Gucci that I enjoy and Jadakiss absolutely killed this remix...Wayne did well but I know you've heard the verse on his mixtape track Wasted off of his upcoming mixtape (or is it out) No Ceilings.  Party Party Party to this version now...

Nothing you can do to see these locally unless you have the right connect but this whole thing is interesting.  Here is the info below I found on HighSnobiety.  You can go there as well to see even more images.

180g revisits Nike for a new collection of custom died pieces. The Parisian dye house created an wide array of custom colored sneakers using washed silk, leathers, and mineral flakes for an athletic look. The Air Flytop and Tennis Classic both get ample play alongside other styles, while each pair sports contrast colored laces, reptile applications and more. The launch of this collection takes place Thursday, November 5th at 180g.

GAME f. GUCCI MANE & TIMBALAND - KRAZY (NEW MUSIC DOWNLOAD)

Game drops his new single for his forthcoming album R.E.D. with everyone's new favorite rapper Gucci Mane (smh) as well as Timbaland.  Interesting collabo that could very well pay off as far as the appeal to the mainstream market, but with enough grit to still attract the core fans of Game & Gucci.  But for now, I'm bumping this 50 Cent Before I Self Destruct LB right now.  Ya'll can enjoy this.

CURREN$Y - CMJ "BETTER RECOGNIZE" SHOWCASE VIDEO

As you know NahRight & OnSmash had a showcase for the CMJ event and OnSmash has plenty of video for you to see...but since I've been really digging some of the stuff Curren$y has dropped lately I decided to post his video...there were no LA artists on the bill...Wiz Khalifa even appeared to perform one of the tracks I dig off of their How Fly project.  Enjoy.

KRINK - MINI COOPER S

You've seen me post KRINK touched shoes and things but this is a good look for the artist...as you can see he's added his touch to a Mini Cooper S.  I think it's dope and innovative that this car company in particular would do this.  This is something I'd expect Scion to do but nonetheless I think this is dope.  They are having shows for it but unless you're in Europe it won't matter to you.

BET HIP HOP AWARD CYPHERS

If you didn't know I'll tell you or remind you in case you forgot...the person who puts these cyphers that you all talk about after the awards is a friend of mine from LA.  She works hard every year to balance the coonery on the stage and in the audience by placing a variety of rappers that still can represent the art of hip hop.  She did a dope job this year as they were able to pull off Eminem (nuff said) and more.  She fights hard to get Cali representation but the powers that be think we have nothing popping over here.  Luckily we were able to get Nipsey to represent...and did he.  Anyways here are all 3 of the cyphers featuring the likes of KRS One, Nicki Minaj, Black Thought, Mos Def, Joe Budden, Wale, Buckshot and more.  Enjoy...we're working on an LA takeover for next year.

DJ SMALLZ x BELLY - BACK FOR THE FIRST TIME (FREE MUSIC DOWNLOAD)

I'm dropping this since I've dropped his video with Snoop Dogg as well as the Behind the Scenes.  He hails from Toronto but since he has features from folks we support at Eazee Street, namely Snoop & Drake I figured we could offer some shine to an artist not of the Los Angeles scene.  Check it out if you like.  As a bonus I'm dropping the single with Snoop with no DJ.

MICK BOOGIE x IDLE WARSHIP (RES, TALIB KWELI & GRAPH NOBEL) - PARTY ROBOT

Idle Warship welcomes you to our first full length offering, Party Robot. This started out as a path to musical freedom. When we established Idle Warship, we did it for us. Now that we are giving you this music, Idle Warship no longer belongs to us, it belongs to the world. We don’t believe in labels for music. Labels make stop you from hearing something before you listen to it. We appreciate those who have taken this journey with us without judgment and enjoyed the ride. To everyone who purchased our music on iTunes and anyone who has bought a ticket to an Idle Warship show, this is for you. All my party robots stand up!

Shouts to Tunji for shooting this over.  Oh and you can download according to the cover you like.  Enjoy.

The Clipse on KUBE 93's Sound Session from DJ Hyphen on Vimeo.

We talked extensively about their upcoming Till The Casket Drops album (…and if the crackers are playing more fair this time around), including breakdowns of their singles with Kanye West,Cam’ron and Pharrell. They also looked back on their past work, detailed the success of their Play Cloths fashion line, doled out advice to younger artists, and much more.
